[ 취업후기 ]
저는 약 1년간 포트폴리오제작을 위해 시드게임학원에서 게임애니메이션을 공부하며, 애니메이터로써 취업을 위해 노력하였습니다.
국비반으로 수업을 8개월간 들었고 4개월간 일반반에서의 기간을 통해 회사에 필요한 여러가지 애니적 이론과 툴을 다루는 기술을 배웠습니다.
이러한 기간 동안 몸도 아팠었고 여러 가지 고난을 겪었지만, 포기하지 않고 이를 극복하며 게임애니메이션 분야에서 역량을 향상시킬 수 있었습니다.
이러한 노력과 끈기는, 일지를 쓰는 것과 액팅을 연습하는 것등과 같은 다양한 노력들과 함께 큰 도움이 되었습니다.
일지를 쓰면서, 자신의 진행 상황과 문제점을 체계적으로 파악하고, 개선해나갈수 있었습니다.
또한, 액팅을 연습하면서, 캐릭터의 감정 표현과 움직임에 대한 이해를 높일 수 있었습니다.
하루에 5개씩 매일 꾸준하게 한 크로키는 포즈를 보는 관찰력과 감각을 기를수 있었고,
동기부여 영상을 보며 포기하지 않는 마음과 열정을 배울수 있었습니다.
이러한 노력과 교육은 이무송 선생님께서 제공해주신 열정과 지식을 최대한 활용하며, 회사 취업에 큰 도움이 되었습니다. 이무송 선생님께는 항상 열정적이고, 저희에게 맞는 집중적인 교육을 제공해주셨습니다. 그 덕분에, 저는 취업에서 좋은 성과를 이룰 수 있었습니다.
선생님의 말씀을 따르고, 시키시는대로 실천하고, 부족하더라도 최선을 다해 노력하고, 선생님을 믿는것이 이런 좋은 결과를 얻게 해주었다고 생각합니다.
이 글을 통해, 저는 시드게임학원과 이무송 선생님께 깊은 감사의 말씀을 전하고자 합니다. 부족한 저에게 많은 도움을 준 학원 친구들에게도 감사합니다. 선생님과 친구들의 도움이 없었다면 저는 이만큼 성장하지 못했을것입니다. 앞으로도 제가 배운 것들을 바탕으로 더욱 성장하고 발전해나갈 것입니다. 다른사람들에게 도움이 되는, 다른사람을 즐겁게 하는 게임을 제작하는 애니메이터로 성장하도록 하겠습니다.

질문 있습니다 1. 모델링 텍스쳐링도 다 직접 하신 건가여? 아니면 학원에서 제공해주는 캐릭터에 애니메이팅만 하신 건가여? 2. 리깅도 직접 하신 건가요?

Yes, I see, but I just didn’t believe that in 3D max you can make animations of such good quality ^_^@@322ss

@@hardflame8464Well, I've seen many talented artists use Max to create high quality animations, and if you read and google, you see in how many big games Max has been used... So it is not that much about the software, but about the skill of the animator :)

@@322ss Well, if it was just the skill of the animator, new animation programs wouldn't be created. Moreover, even Autodesk (developer of 3D Max) released a special program for this, a special program for animations called “Motion Builder”. They probably had a reason to create a separate animation program :). In any case, your animations in 3D Max are good and high quality ^_^

@@hardflame8464 I have used Motion Builder back in the day for mocap, and it is aimed at and better suited for capturing and cleaning up mocap, works well with Maya too. It ain't an animation program, I'd rather use Maya or Max. The fact that new programs get created is about markets, change of landscape and innovation - like there is now Cascadeur. My point was - it is more about skill than software, "software pilot" doesn't create an animation - animator does. Of course automation, UX, ease of use and such can make the process of animation either miserable or outright enjoyable. Anyway, lets not turn this guy's portfolio piece into a discussion forum.
