Nice trip with your mom - good memories! was that Khan el Khalili in the beginning - great shopping esp for fabric and scents! Love the name of the boat lol - you survived! - and good idea to hire a tour guide to spend the day with you - so much to see - in addition to Cairo, and Alex all the new places new museum in Giza, new capital city and I'd like to do a road trip from Hurghada to Ain Sokhna, and then of course see Aswan, Asyut, Luxor - can't wait to go - been too long!
