The Coptic patriarchate of Jerusalem has an ancient church there managed by these monks as well as the church of St Helen next to it. Also usually there is an Egyptian monk sitting in the back side of the tomb in the holy sepulchre church where the Coptic icons are. There’s Coptic churches/monasteries as well in Jaffa, Nazareth, and in the West Bank(Bethlehem, Ramallah, Jericho) as well but I know it’s prob hard for you to go in those cities

The land was called Palestina Capitolina on the name of the greek invaders enemies of Jews by the Romans to humiliate the Jews after Judea was defeated by Rome and was known as the name for the holy land in the Christian world. It was not called Palestine in any time under Muslim rule, its borders were not of the British Mandate and Jerusalem wasn't a capital of anything.
