I haven’t been home, Tehran, since late 70’s for obvious reasons. As a youngster I was never in to Iranian music. It was always too sad for my taste but in my old age,66, and living in the US the last 50 years I’ve discovered the beauty of the lyrics & been listening to Iranian music once again. I came across Ehaam a few years ago by accident and been a fan ever since. There are others that I’ve been enjoying also. Once I discovered the beauty and the meaning of the lyrics I have come to the conclusion that anyone who says French is language of love does not know Farsi…❤

@@alirezakhodaei9966 totally agree. My children and my 2 grandsons constantly ask about when they can visit our homeland, even though they were all born in the US, but unfortunately we keep waiting. What part of US are you in. I’m in southwestern PA

Read your comment just now. It feels so relatable. As a kid I used to hate the songs that were in my native language: Sindhi. But as I have grown up, I have started to understand the meaning of the lyrics and now there are certain Sindhi songs that I love with all my heart. Though Farsi is not spoken in my country (Pakistan) anymore, I have developed this liking and this habit of listening to Persian songs and exploring the beauty of this rich language. I don't understand much of it hence I've to go for the translations of the songs I love on Google. But this one has no translation over there. Can you please translate it in English? Even though I cannot understand what Ehaam is singing, this song has brought tears to my eyes which is very rare to happen.

@@areebapirzada4714 I believe this is one their most recent song and that is why it may not be on google. I use Spotify which , in most cases, has the lyric in Farsi and that’s how I can understand parts that I can’t while listening to the song. I’m ashamed to say there are many words in my native tongue that I don’t understand. I’ll try to translate what I can understand but I know I am butchering the beautiful the lyrics but here is what I can understand. Much sadness A sick( hurting) heart Repeating the same story I am condemned to death and you are the rope I will hang by Stormy night, long sadness … Fall in love even for a night . . Give me breathe for without you I am done with life. My apologies for not being as elegant as the lyrics are but give it time and then check google again.

@@v_for_vendetta4 Zanyar Khosravi zaten gruptan bağımsız çalışıyordu geçen sene bu vakitte Ehaam resmi açıklama yapıp Maziyar Lashani ile yollarını ayırdıklarını söyledi ama bir sene boyunca anlaşma gereği şarkılar yayınlandı yarışma yaptılar gruba yeni birini almak için sonra uzlaştılar Maziyar ı gruba geri aldılar ve yeni müzisyenin adı ise Saeed sesi Maziyar ın ses rengine yakın
