Super neat design, simple and effective.

Nice, thanks for sharing. I did a lot of flying in remote areas of northern Australia with something similar to a Mosquito harness, quite a lot noisier than your rig.

Congrats! I'd glad if you share more info about the propeller. Did you make/modify it by yourself?
@sailsafe126 күн бұрын
Yes i used an custom prop and cut it in 2 halfs. Works fine.
@sailsafe126 күн бұрын
I think Reidar Berendsen has some video on making folding prop.

nice. what's the total weight of the e-lift? would it work also with a faster glider, like a U2?
@sailsafe12 жыл бұрын
The weight is around 10 kg. It will work with u2 but needs more speed to takeoff on flatland than a Freedom.

@@sailsafe1 thanks for the info. This would be an option for me. I wonder if I could make it a few kilos lighter by using Carbon for the rod...
@sailsafe12 жыл бұрын
More like few hg my latest ehelp is a carbon one I use alu around the batteries to protect me from heat if something goes wrong.

Hi Petter, is there any way i can get your help to build a motor like the one you're using, im from Mexico
@sailsafe1 Жыл бұрын
I am not sure but i near future we get this ehelp approved in Sweden and the plan is to have some instruktion how to build it. You can also visit Reidar Berendsen on youtube. He got some instruktions there.

Hello, I think I see a novel way of supporting the end of the motor boom with a small rope. Can you take pictures of this, or make a video, or explain this?
@sailsafe1 Жыл бұрын
Yes its connected from cg to 2/3 of the boom to support weight of the engine
