Been debating on doing the eibach reservoir adjustable 3” loaded struts, or the fox…. I heard fox is a little rougher but make a huge difference on dirt

Both are great options! Fox is been regarded as top of the line even by Ford with the Raptor. But I don’t think you can go wrong with either choice!

Ohh that’s great!! Cuz pot holes 🕳 are a problem here too!!! Some areas are very much rural and the street are a mess… all u feel is air- awesome

Yea it’s kinda sad here. They normally just cover the potholes with a large plate and don’t come back for months to actually fix it 🤷🏾‍♂️

That’s a Niice looking truck!! Love the grill!! I love darker rides personally ..my go to is black but my current vehicle is this midnight gray-blue and I love it

I typically went for darker colors in the past also. This is actually the only light colored vehicle I’ve ever owned. Thanks for the comments

Wow, I wish they made this for the Lowering spring front and back tie a car. I lowered my car with the pro kit and shocks/struts and springs eibach and it rides like crap over bumps and imperfections in the road.

Whoa what a transformation that thing looks amazing! Have you considered painted mirror caps? The $70 ones from eBay are dang nice for the price 👍🏻

@@MeAndCarKeys Yeah pretty much, just a bit nerve wracking removing the mirror but all in all it's pretty simple :) There's tons of videos showing the details. It's a nice touch for the lower level trucks like mine :)

Thanks a lot bro! Honestly, because of Eibachs great reputation for suspensions. I was also convinced by a video on Stage 3 Motorsports KZfaq channel talking about how good these Eibachs were. And also because Bilsteins were out of stock. 😂

My truck has the 2.5 inch puck style leveling kit, and I’m running 20X10 Fuel Maverick wheels with basically a 33 inch tire and the stock Ford FX4 shocks. To tell you the truth, I think it would have been a better ride with 18” wheels. More rubber to absorb the bumps. When you move up to the bigger wheels, you lose sidewall on the tire and it causes a rougher ride, which is why a lot of people change to adjustable shocks. The ride adjustment on the more expensive shocks, let’s you compensate for that rougher ride. I think the reason you aren’t feeling the bumps as much, is because you went from an 18” wheel to a 22” wheel and a bigger tire. I’m sure those new shocks are better than the stock ones for sure, but I think those bigger wheels just aren’t dropping into the pot holes as much as the stock ones were. Maybe I need to jump up to a 22” wheel😂

I like the way you explain things! That makes a lot of sense. I originally planned on a 20x10 with 34 tall tires thinking I’d rather have more tire but decided on this setup at the last minute. I also wish I had kept the stock setup with these shocks to see the true difference. So how is the ride for you? I think you’d like the 22s!!! 😂

@@MeAndCarKeys , to be honest, mine is rougher than I would like it to be. But I still have the stock FX4 shocks. Really I have 3 choices, go back to 18” rims to get more sidewall on the tire, put on some good aftermarket shocks like you did, or install a 4” lift so I can get 35” tires and get more sidewall on the tires again. Two of those options are very expensive, I think I’m just gonna go with the cheapest option and try some Bilstein shocks. I can do that for under 1000 bucks.

@@jimmyhorton8297 the fx4 is y u have a rough ride.... the fx4 package is ford's off road package. They put a lot stiffer suspension on those trucks. When I bought mine I test drove an fx4 and loved it.... but my xlt has a much more comfortable ride

@@christopherpfleegor4447 , yeah, mine is an XLT sport with the FX4 package. I specifically bought it that way because I work in the pipeline industry, and I wanted the skid plates and better shocks. I just need to spend the money and get the adjustable shocks with the reservoirs so I can dial them up and down between jobs. My brother just put some Bilstein 4600 series shocks on his F250 and he loves them, but they aren’t adjustable.

@@jimmyhorton8297 when I bought my truck I wanted the fx4 package too specifically for the better suspension.... but the dealership that had that one tried to screw me so I didn't buy it. The pucks r making ur ride even rougher too... they r preloading ur stats so they don't have as much room to travel before they bottom out. Adjustable with a reservoir would be exactly what I would get if I were u. But they r gonna be $$$, but they will give u the best ride on and off road

Eibach is good, Bilstein has a stiffer ride, they both an upgrade

just a suggestion.... you should remove that plastic air damn that hangs down from the front bumper, i took it off my truck and instantly makes it look more aggressive in my opinion.... think its just a couple plastic clips, cant remember for sure. the problem i have found over the years with the puck style leveling kits is they pre-load your struts a little bit that is why the ride quality is not quite as good with them. and if you go offroad with the pucks you can actually damage your struts if you hit something to hard with them because they are pre-loaded. i have seen it many times in friends truck the hit something in a mud hole and break a strut because they bottom out too hard with the pucks. if you are not going to go offroad then the puck style leveling kit is a great option, the ride MIGHT be a little rougher but the cost offset makes it worthwhile, but if you plan on going offroad at all..... i would always do leveling struts

My bro!! Thanks for explaining the puck style kits. Sounds like I made the right decision even though the only off-roading I’ll ever do it to park on the grass 😂 I’ve been noticing the air dam thing for a while now. Mine has a lot of discoloration too so I may remove it. I’ve heard that it helps mpg which I why I left it there. I’m sure it’s not by much tho! Thanks alot for the comment bro!

@@MeAndCarKeys they say it's to help fuel mileage, which makes a tiny bit of sense because it reduces the amount of air that gets under the truck... but when I took mine off I didn't notice any change at all.... other than it looks a ton better without that thing hanging down. And when ur a big guy like me it's a bit easier to fit under the truck..... LMAO
