Eiger Run 2022

Rumour has it that the Eiger Run is one of the most attractive and well-groomed toboggan runs in the Bernese Oberland... ... The route ends up along the foot of the Eiger and passes directly under the legendary North Face. The illuminated trail at night makes nighttime sledging a truly memorable experience.

It takes around 30-45 mins to do the complete run. We normally get the train from Kleine Scheidegg down to Alpiglen and then sledge down to Brandegg and catch the train back up to Alpiglen, if you're quick enough you'll time the train just right! Haven't done it at night as it's an extra cost on top of the sledging/hiking pass.

Can anyone do sledge? I mean first time users also can take eiger run?

How much time does it take from start to finish on this run? Did you try this at night?

for once someone who knows how to sledge, doesn't break a lot, and still stays in control. well done! i've done the eiger run many, many times, but prefer the faulhorn run (pintefritz) on the other, sunny side of grindelwald. it's longer (15 kms) and you have an absolutely stunning view. but you need to walk 2 - 2.5 hrs from the top funicular station to the top of faulhorn. i'd love seeing you do that one as well.
