Around about 30 years ago I was with an English morris dance group (The Travelling Morrice) doing a tour of the Ring of Kerry having a wonderful dance culture exchange with the local dancers and musicians in the villages. One image that has stayed with me was in a bar, watching the 3 year old daughter of the postman who was watching a morris jig inside the bar. She was not interested in the hand movements that traditionally are part of the morris, but was intently watching the feet and was clearly somewhat confused by the entirely different beat and unfamiliar steps, and was trying to work it out. I could see her tiny feet attempting to match the steps, without a lot of success - a whole different origin of tradition but so very wonderful to see the local dance culture so very strong there.

I know this is a old post however i have to say...She's talented at irish dancing for a 3 year old and so cute too. Some people just really don't know hard it can be to learn this quite this young and in saying that it's better to learn young...It's obvious she clearly is and will do well at it and above all, she's enjoying it, as most do, hope she keeps it up 😀🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪

She is so cute. I'm use to seeing little girls in their ballet recitals. My girls started ballet and tap at 2 years and 3 years. Their recitals had little girls standing and looking around because they forgot their dance.

OMG. Look how much better she is at 3. It looks like she is 1 of the BIG GIRLS. I saw her video at age 2 a day r 2 ago. And it was cute as hell. But she was just able to Mark it then. Kind of just sleep walking through the steps. Very good for 2... but now at 3... AMAZING what a difference a year makes. The right Dress helps too to fill out the movements. Great work little Lady. Soon she will be all grown up haha JK Cherish her while she is still so precious. These videos bring a joyful tear to my eyes. Thank you.
