great video, i spent the entire 7 minutes waiting to see the gear stick light up, only to find that he didnt even show the gear stick light up. So didnt really see the end result.

Thanks for the video, it helped. For me the knob was very tight on the stick and I had to remove the whole gear stick by pushing aside the clips at the bottom and pulling it off. This goes fairly easy. I could then remove the knob by fixing the stick in a vise and using considerable force.

@@jordang2442 yea video is fake,i bet the car is broken you can't do that,you would need to replace whole thing,i got told it costs around 650 euros :D and my gear stick is fucked up,like rubber is gone

completely useless and dangerous. If you pull the gear knob, you can tear out the entire gear lever because the lower ball socket will break. It's better to heat the knob with a hairdryer and remove it, then you don't have to cut the reverse plastic

Thanks for your tip, as you can see on the video, we turn the gear knob and pull it upwards, nothing can happen. It has already been installed 1000 times.
