It makes really look at David more different every time , David sees the beauty of the world even when it's complete shit and he goes through the worst even when the world shits on him heck , in one of flash back episode he was even like max when he was a kid ! I just love how David has "Positivy+Max = Success" and only purely starts feeling scared of losing his role at the camp when Daniel "manages" to make Max "love" something, aka feel something positive. David knows that when he sees Max happy he completed the day to its best.

I’ve listened this so many times and it makes me think. I like to imagine this as a duet between David and Max. They’re both so similar yet so different. Especially with the context of David being like Max when he was a kid. I like to imagine different parts of this sung by each of them, maybe even at the same time at some parts. It just… it’s a perfect song for them.

The art style is so crisp, clean and consistent, and recognizable; you can tell these are the characters we know, and they are conveyed perfectly.
