They use their own audience as an instrument. Pure genius at work, I can't listen to half of their music but it is their approach and philosophy to music that makes them my greatest band ever.

Ein wunderbares Lied passend zur Vorweihnachtszeit,eine harmonische Klangfülle, und ein eingängiger Text, einfach wunderbar passend für überall uind nirgends, wahrscheinlich von Carl Orff ?! Ich bin vergeistert.

So did I! Had heard a lot of good things about them, so when I had some cash available, I went to the local "alternative" store and picked up the first Einstürzende Neubaten I saw. Turned out to be "Ende Neu". Since this was the first song on the album, that was my start, too.

its a sound thing- women's' voices tend to be higher in register.. guys generally lower- it gives the sound guy a easier job to balance the two sounds by separating them ;)

I've a feeling he's the kind of guy who'd say "Nah, I'm good mate" (or however you'd say that in German ... "Nah, ich bin gut, mein kerl", maybe? Not sure if that's either grammatically or idiomatically correct...). The kind of guy who just doesn't want to get buried in all the bureaucratic nonsense, wrestling with fifty boring old guys just to make his dream of "a morning without hangover, without regret, not alone" (1:18) come true.

Naund, er liest den Text ab. Warum Zeit darin verschwenden, ihn ewig im Kopf zu behalten? Die meißten Bands nehmen im Studio auch auf, indem sie nen Text vor sich haben. Und sehr oft hat er ja keinen Zettel gebraucht. Und wenn man lange das Lied nicht gesungen hat, ist halt ein Teil ausm Kopf. Oder er kann sich mitlerweile nicht mehr so gut konzentrieren. Auch möglich. Sowas senkt aber in keinstem Fall die Professionalität. Und nur weil das andere Bands nicht machen, sind die anderen Bands nicht gleich professioneller, oder besser...
