I live in India and would take this opportunity to request you to educate me about bonsai of plants like rumphii, religocia, Benjamin and other ficus varieties. Have quite a few questions but I know it wouldn't be fair to ask them of you here. Nevertheless, shall risk one - is summer dormancy a fact or a myth (out here mid-April through early June, till onset of monsoons, temperatures can hit 108+ F)?

I'm not into bonsai but heck I'm saving this bc there're so much info on the general principals in gardening too. I'm more interested in broadleaf ,decis. always drown to it than conifirs even to just view bonsai.
