In the first episode of Stab in the Dark with Italo Ferreira, our star was forced to discard one of his 13 boards based solely on appearance. He ended up choosing the number 46 board, which happened to be a Haydenshapes Darkside model.
While Italo wasn't allowed to surf this Unlucky 13th board, we thought it would be fun to let someone of similar stature and ability to Italo try it out. Here's how it went...

Eliminating a board without riding it is just like judging a book by its cover, it’s so stupid. It could be an insane revolutionary design that deserves to win but just because it looks a little different it gets eliminated without the chance to prove itself. It seems to me like choosing an unlucky 13 board is the opposite of what stab in the dark is about. Stab should seriously remove this stupid round.

Board looks like rail is catching cause some bog and doesn’t look like it projects well out of turns. Italo made the right decision to ditch it

as expert level surf and 12 year experience that board sucks. you can tell when he slams the surfboard in the water at the end lol.
