I am a huge College Basketball fan. What I have noticed this year is the drastic rise in cheap shots, such as elbows, deliberated landing on feet, eye pokes, gut shots, and the list goes on. Most noticeably in the NCAA women's games. Even more disturbing is some of it looks like it might be fomented by the coaching staff, or at the very least, tolerated. One of the reasons I like watching NCAA women's basketball is they are generally better about not having that type of on the edge dirty play. There are a couple of teams that need some review. Not going to name the teams or players, but I am sure I am not the only fan that feels this way. Some teams seem to perpetuate creating chaos as their game plan. Creating chaos is not a skill or talent. Let the skill and talent rise to the top, clip the tail feathers of the chaos creators.

funny, we play pick up ball at a local park on Sunday mornings which has 2 courts. Our court is mainly "our group", which plays "1962 style" basketball...meaning we don't foul the hell out of each other, we don't dribble with our off-hand elbowing the defender, no push-offs, no "drive right at em" (knowing nobody's taking a charge on a sunday morning) bullshit....it's great!!! Passing and moving is the game. Zero arguing and fighting. The other court has "wanna be NBA" basketball....meaning they drive hard, foul hard, push off hard, drive the lane that's full of everybody and then wonder why they got touched....it's horrible. ALL YOU GET is constant bitching and moaning because they're playing "gorilla ball", with no refs to call it. LOL It's great when some of those players come to our court, and try their bullshit...and we ain't having it. We (mostly me) basically say "you wanna play that crap, go to the other court." The wait to play is always on our court.....as our games are more fun, have more sportsmanship, and more ball movement. LMFAO

initial tech was called WAY to quickly unless she had been instigating shit like that the entire game (in my eyes if you've been doing that and have been trying to start shit thats one thing, but it didn't seem like she had been, just seemed like she was hyped about the defense) I do kinda see the second tech to play devils advocate just because when refs get argued with and it's to.a point where a teammate is kind of holding her back, we see players get that kind of tech pretty regularly, but even for the second one, it was a VERY quick whistle.... TLDR: Quick Whistles, Second tech you can make an argument for, first one is bullshit. Refs suck.

@@briholt100 The initial taunt was the correct technical foul. As for the continued talking that takes place after the first technical issued, it does look like a bit of jawing takes place, and the trail official comes to separate the two players and gets in the middle. Even though words continue to be exchanged, the official calls the second tech when white jersey #1 takes a step toward the black jersey player and keeps talking. To me, it was that action that the official reacted to, and I appreciate it when officials draw the line and hold it.

Welp, play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Not only did she get in the girl's face with the officials standing right there, she went back and said more to the same player with the officials between them. Hello, they can hear you.

These players have no humility or respect. Classless, as well. But these are young people, the coaches are teachers, too. They're not teaching them the code of conduct for their team. Also, the behaviors hurt their own teams.

100% her fault on both, but what young people do that makes themselves, their coaches, teammates and others are when they act as if they’re surprised and want to BLAME others!!!!! A real lesson that could and should be taught is YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS, NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!!!! STOP BEING STUPID AND PLAY!!!!!!!!!! Let the coaches do the arguing, that’s their job!!!!!!!!! Her own selfishness and ignorance has now hurt her team for the rest of the game!!!!!!!!!! Great job sister, but I bet she will never admit that!!!!!!!!!!

There should be more of this ..Cut the trash talking, posturing and cheap play out of the game ...its gotten completely out of control... grade school kids are doing it.. its got to stop ...let your play do the talking and stop making it about yourself ...

Intelligence is obviously not a requirement to play on that team. The flexing, mouthing and lack of sportsmanship has become commonplace.

If she gets ejected for words then the other player should too. They have to stop these one sided punishments. The trash-talk is never only one way.

She got caught. Instead of apologizing she tried defending her poor behavior. This generation was never held accountable growing up. She obviously met a referee who was raised differently. Good work!
