Chaturthi date of Krishna Paksha of Jyeshtha month is called Ekadant Sankashti Chaturthi. This year this fast is the last Chaturthi fast of the month of May. By observing a fast on this day, they worship Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, and offer Arghya to the moon. This fast cannot be completed without offering Arghya to the Moon.
ज्येष्ठ माह के कृष्ण पक्ष की चतुर्थी तिथि को एकदंत संकष्टी चतुर्थी कहते हैं. इस साल यह व्रत मई माह का अंतिम चतुर्थी व्रत है. इस दिन व्रत रखकर विघ्नहर्ता श्री गणेश जी की पूजा करते हैं और चंद्रमा को अर्घ्य देते हैं. यह व्रत बिना चंद्रमा को अर्घ्य दिए बिना पूर्ण नहीं हो सकता है.
