Thanks for making this video. Definitely helps to watch a demonstration. They changed the seat cushion attachment since then which makes it even easier & faster. It’s a well made chair & well thought out construction process, too! I got down to about 20 minutes each after a couple times! Thanks again for making life a little easier for the rest of us!!

I wanted these chairs because of "easily removable covers"..but looking at how the chair is put together seems like I would have to unscrew the seat to be able to change the cover right?

hi. You will not unscrew completely the chair but only the seat and it has 4 screws..

There is an updated variant (under the same part number!) that has an easily removable seat part and it actually has a manual with instructions how to remove the cover to put it into a washing machine. However, I've purchased it and got the old version :-( ...they've advertised that it's easily washable but sent me the old model. What's worse, 3 of 4 chairs are wobbling and one of them is wobbling too much (short by 3-4 mm to the floor). I'm going to return them but it's frustrating as I've also bought and assembled an EKEDALEN table to match these chairs.

I lost step 5. and I'm really sorry. it is necessary to introduce the metal piece by respecting that the marked part is outside. and insert the screw from the top
