Theres no new VO or anything, Ekko came out 7 months before I started doing Special Interaction videos and December is a quiet month with not much content so got extra time. A lot of people have been asking for this as well due to Arcane. Some notes, some hookups are broken because hes such an old champ, eg Respawn after dying to Cait/Jayce, Dodge Cait Ult and Zilean revive do not work in game but included for the sake of inclusion in the video. Also the first encounters, these lines originally use to be taunts however they trigger nowadays when you first encounter those champs.

I prefer the interactions between Ekko and Zilean in Legends of Runeterra. They're like friend and make jokes about time travel.

Now that Arcane’s out, it makes Ekko’s lines when he interacts with Vi cut so much deeper than we initially thought. It also gave us insight about Vi and Jinx’s relationship (as sisters) without giving anything away. Props to the VO team for this

The interactions with vi hit harder when you think of how much he admired her as a child…

The "Put an Angel on the job, i could use a break" and "I'm no Angel" voice lines are a reference to Pit from the Kid Icarus games because Ekko and Pit are voiced by the same actor (Anthony Del Rio)

Crazy to think where Ekko and Jinx could have gone if things happened differently

His interactions with Jinx and Vi really hits different after Arcane.

It's crazy how the style of special interactions have changed since Ekko's release, especially compared to recent champs and legendary skins

Ekko is such a cool guy lol, but it's not the only reason why he's one of my mains. It’s the whole package. Amazing voice lines, suiting one of the best champions ever released, character wise

Ekko's interaction with Jinx hits way harder after Arcane.

"How can I not buy this" and "it's like it was made for me" are actually - or probably are no longer - interactions for Luden's Echo (which is called Luden's Pulse now, if I'm correct). "Some things do get better with time" and "yep, this thing has a bright future" used to be interactions with the Rod of Ages, which was removed back in preseason 11. And I think that "I love hitting Pilties with their own toys ." was an interaction that played when Ekko bought Hextech Gunblade, which no longer exists which is probably why it now plays when buying Hextech Rocketbelt.

This seems out of the blue. These voice lines have been in the game for years, for those who didn’t know.

Ekko having interactions with dodging abilities is amazing.

I'm sad that Arcane ekko isn't voiced by Anthony del rio, he nailed it with ekko's voice and to me there's nothing can replace Anthony del rio VA with ekko

for a champion thats been out for 5 or so years, Ekkos one of the few champs that has a healthy amount of interactions in LOL to me. it sort of encourages you to seek these quotes out as you play with the items you buy and champions you face. Jhins another great example of this. i havent really felt this in the newest releases besides Yone. its kinda sad and im hoping future champions get this kind of love again. really adds up to the experience

I miss the affection that riot had with her characters, interactions even with items and mastery. nowadays, we have the vex, whose joke is just talking about viego, and the akshan, which literally just came out to fill the bankrupt hole that was the Ruin event.

Loved that they kept lines to items that aren’t in the game anymore, like Ludens Echo (its like it was made for me) and Rod of Ages (some things do get better with time)

This video just shows how champion interactions from recent years pale in comparison to the old ones. Ekko had interactions with several champs outside of Zaun, interactions with different champion ults, interactions with items, interactions with specific playstyle. Nowadays, champs have almost zero interesting interactions and if it wasn't for SkinSpotlights to include "Long Walk" and "Respawn" quotes, they would be not even 1 minute.
