I still remember to this day in early 2007 booting up the PS2 with my cousins i was the youngest one and the oldest was in mid 20's putting in the disc for NFS carbon starting the career and driving the M3 GTR trying to escape cross I was 6 at the time

Now hold up idk if this is a coincidence but the image looks like an actual location in the game. About 25 meters east from the safehouse (the one between Downtown and Fortuna next to the highway), facing southwest. If I had a daytime mod I would be able to re-create the image. I'm pretty sure the image is real too.

Played a lot of nfs all of them. Underground broke my mind underground 2 was epic but this game tied it all together. Probably the best they ever did. Loved the canyon racing. Do great and then defend your honor

I have great memories with Carbon from 2016.That was the year when i played and completed it for the first time and i had so much fun conquering territories,racing with wingmen(Nikki and Yumi my favorites),running from the cops,defeating all crew rivals and beating Darius with a riced out Gallardo.In short,i enjoyed Carbon so much.I also have more memories from 2016 with that game because my friend had an old PS3 with NFS Carbon and we would always play this game Splitscreen for hours every Saturday.When i found out that this game is hated in the community i was shocked.

@@xristaka8199 Not really hated imo, people just favor MW'05 since that was more popular/sold more and are automatically more biased towards that being a better game. Carbon is kind of a black sheep since it was the last game before the decline in popularity of the BlackBox NFS games and some people look at its rushed development and shorter length campaign as an inferior game to MW'05. From what I've seen the vast majority of the community love Carbon and to this day it's one of the most actively modded/supported NFS games. Personally I will always love Carbon, easily in the top 3 for me.

@@Degahen Yeah i agree with your point i know Carbon is beloved in the community but it still isn't acknowledged enough and i've seen people being way too harsh on this game.Like,Ug1&2 also have flaws and people are somewhat blind to them and instead they hate on Carbon.Carbon may not have been as successfull as MW but it's a huge improvment over the Underground games and that is the thing that isn't acknowledged.

If you've played Underground 2 and Most wanted, it's really just an inferior game to those. Palmont... is not a fun world map to explore... it's mainly just dead ends that lead to nothing of interest instead of these interconnected streets networks like Bayview and Rockport. Canyon races and the autosculpt/vinyl editors are really the only things this game has on its predecessors.

I'm not gonna lie, to me this seems like the least exciting or interesting themes in this game. As it sticks with the same beat for majority of the song and doesn't really try adding much on top of it, and when it does, it's already done before it could be good.
