El Park Güell es un ícono de Barcelona y una obra maestra de Antoni Gaudí. Hasta hace bien poco, el acceso a este parque era gratuito, porque así lo quiso la familia Güell cuando lo donó a la ciudad. La masificación turística a la que fue sometido sirvió como excusa para su cierre.
The Park Güell is an icon of Barcelona and a masterpiece of Antoni Gaudí. It was of free access until recently because that's what the Güell family demanded when they donated the park to the city. It's been exposed to years of massive tourism, and that served as an excuse to close it and charge for it's entrance.
