El Dorado is a strategy city-building game in which you plan, build and develop your settlement to conquer Jukatan and earn the title of The Golden City. Become a leader, whom even Gods will bow to. Offer sacrifices to the Gods to earn their favor, but beware and don’t lose yourself in your riches.

I have been looking forward to this game, but after playing Manor Lords for the past month straight, I've been spoiled. The standard that ML set for a city builder is just way too high now.

pretty interesting look at it. yes Manor lords are pretty great, i see lots of potential in the game. but i feel like every city building game is so basic and it doesnt give that thrill to me. imagine you have a age of empires, fast pace game but you build a "magic" or "mage" type too, with special abilities and healing and spells. and add more of a progressive type of game where you become stronger and you never get killed completely. almost like clash of clans. you build your city. train thousands of troops. build walls. build towers. enemy rushing to your city. you have to repair damages, have to maintain your army. needs. and farm resources. and kill enemy online. maybe form alliances. but... rise of kingdoms has this aspect but... the building/upgrading time is ridiculously long. but imagine a more medieval style city builder. also with farming and looting shooting. raiding enemy bases. getting a high value resource from attacking them. yah i like this
