Maggie Gee You welcome, these horses are very much a part of their heritage and I am sure they are very much loved. As far as the loud music think of it this way they are used to loud noises so they won't spook easy. The whip is more or less used to keep him at his pace or to get him to move in a certain direction. If you watch closely he isn't hitting him hard with it horses have a thick hide so I'm sure they feel it as a tap . You can see how healthy and beautiful he is and believe it or not but a lot of horses can sense when they are in the arena competing; horses have big egos and they actually do love the attention. I hate abuse with any animal and horses rank as my all time favorite. If I saw anyone striking such a beautiful animal to hurt him I would make it my duty to report him or her. You can train a horse without a whip but I guess it all depends on the individuals preference. I myself don't have a problem with it as long as they are not hurting an animal or trying to put fear into one. Wow, he sure is gorgeous I can't get enough of watching him.

Beautiful for 1 minute at the best. After that time, Piaffé is not right for him. If you open your eyes, you will be able to see that this pretty horse no longer plays : his master beats him every 3 seconds. Damned Cowboy ! Now, about that awful noise all the time around him with this guy trying to sing and rather crying : such a pity ! Of course they spend money to maintain them in good shape, but nobody would convince me that what they do with them is fine. Shame on them !

Daniela Soto I agree with you 100%. I have to laugh at some of the responses from a certain individual. Apparently they know very little about horses. There is no way a trainer could train a horse with fear and beatings and think he would go out there and perform as beautiful and graceful as this one did. Horses are very intelligent animals not stupid. If he was afraid he would be out of control, erratic and not performing well at all.

Are you kidding me? Your culture ropes horses rear legs and flip them upside down for sport. Often legs are broken, but that does not matter to your culture. Your lack of horsemanship and great desire to of the males in your society to prove their masculinity causes horrific cruelty to horses and bulls. Shame on you!

Shame on me! Don't you have something better to do than keep commenting... Why don't you talk to people that are in your low society because all I ever see them doing is complaining. What I do recommend is learning about it before commenting anything. Secondly i did say in my other comments before if you got nothing nice to say don't say nothing at all. i've seen some horses have actually come with these type of movements since they were very small and they actually like what they do, and there are cases where some horses just do it because they don't have a choice and there is others that do like it

darko diamond I agree with you, although horses do 'dance" in their fields. however, it would surprise you to learn how respectfully most dancing horses are treated. i have seen really nice, respectful horse dancing and also atrociously abusive "dancing". This seemed too loud, and the horse obviously wasn't happy. You should watch Frederic Pignon and Magali Delgado. They are people who know how to achieve this without abuse. I am mostly okay with horse performing, but not TWH/other country pleasure because that is disrespectful. However, circuses and other animal entertainment acts disgust me. Why be abusive when you can achieve the same results in a kind, respective manner?
