I really like git, it's the best SCM I've ever used, a blessing compared to svn, cvs or TFS really. But hell, your captions are great. Take my upvote.

It's a windows font where everything looks like emoji, it's very old.

so true. git its nice until you came across weird errors. you find your self waste 10 hours to fix weird problem. and as soon as its fixed the other devleoper who owned another branch tell you that his branch not working. someday someone will come wilth easy tool to manage projects and its gonna kill git for sure. btw this video is so funny .

We have Git at job. I‘m using it by IntelliJ and Eclipse. Many features of Git, including amending. In between with Gerrit. It can be learned. However: - many tutorials are a catastrophe - I have never tried the console version.
