During the great war, the state spent 64.5 million hryvnias ($1.57 million) to help MPs who do not have their own housing in the capital rent it. According to the law, they can be paid up to 20,000 hryvnias ($487) per month for this purpose.
Slidstvo.info analyzed the lawmakers' declarations and found out that some of them buy Rolex watches and real estate abroad while receiving compensation for renting housing in the Ukrainian capital.
