In a ceremony which dates back to at least 1837, King Charles III was officially proclaimed monarch at St. James's Palace in London on Saturday after the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth II. The accession ceremony was followed by the King's declaration and taking of an oath.

@@jsmithmultimediatech The Accession Council of the Privy Council first met in 1603 for the accession of King James VI who also became King James I of England and Ireland. The Accession Council was further formalised by the Act of Settlement (1701) which confirmed that the Heir to the Throne immediately becomes Sovereign at the moment of death of the previous Sovereign. Although there were proclamations prior to 1603 to announce the new Sovereign, the procedure shown here dates only from 1603.

@@keithmurphy7243 A Cult of Personality arises when an individual uses mass media, propaganda, or other methods to create an idealized, and at times, a 'god-like' and a 'goddess-like' public image, through Unquestioning Flattery and Praise. ( Deceased Elizabeth II, Charles, William, Anne, Camilla, Kate and the remaining representatives ) The old English monarchy is a CULT - LIKE institution with a very bad history. What is a CULT-? The group displays excessively zealous and unquestioning commitment to its leader. Questioning, doubt, and dissent are discouraged. The leadership dictates, sometimes in great detail, how members should think, act and feel. The group is elitist, claiming a special, exalted status for itself, its leader and members. The group has a polarized us-versus-them mentality, which may cause conflict with the wider society. The leader is extremely protected and does not give interviews. The leader is not held accountable to any authority. Unquestioning adulation is expected from the followers. Characteristics of a CULT. The Leadership Dictates, Sometimes In Great Detail, How Members Should Think, Talk, Act and Feel. Examples:- When Elizabeth was alive the following rules had to be obeyed. When she enters the room, everyone must stand. When the queen stands, you must stand. By age five, children are expected to bow or curtsy to the monarch. Bow or curtsy as she approaches. Only shake her hand if she shakes your hand first. Do not wear sunglasses outdoors if you are near her. Never address her by her first name. Only address her as your so-called majesty. Never initiate a conversation with her. She always takes the lead. She always walks ahead of everyone else. Her 'husband' always had to walk two paces behind her. Never walk in front of her. You wait for her, she never waits for you. Never turn your back on her. Never leave an event before her. Selfies are forbidden. Never start eating before her. The wearing of fur is not allowed. Never continue eating after she has finished. Keep the conversation 'light'. No personal questions about herself. Females must never sit with their legs crossed at the knee. When the royal family is part of a procession, they must enter and be seated in the order of precedence, which is essentially the order of who’s next in line to the so-called throne. The so-called royals aren’t allowed to give out autographs. Mrs Windsor was required to use her purse to send subtle social signals. When she placed her purse on the table at dinner, it meant it was time to wrap things up-so consider the bite you lifted must be your last. She was required to spend her time speaking to the person on her right for the first course, and then engage in conversation with the guest on her left for the second. The so-called English royals are not allowed to give autographs. Parliamentarians are not allowed to discuss the monarchy. The old English monarchy has a bad history and the following words would apply to it. Anachronistic, Racist, Incest, Adultery, Immorality, Tyranny, Brutality, Genocide, Slavery, Theft, Dysfunctional, Aloof, Extremely Secretive, Irrelevant, Suffocating Formality, Abnormal and a Prison - Like Lifestyle. Edward's and Simpson's allegiance to Hitler. Andrew / Epstein and Charles / Jimmy Savile. Diana's arranged / forced marriage to Charles and his horrible treatment of her. Philip and his affairs. Anne divorced. Randy divorced . Charles divorced. Camilla divorced. There is not much family stability with these people and they are a poor representation of a cohesive family. The obsessed monarchy cult followers say that the monarchy provides stability but they dont explain how it does that with regards to this family. Henry VIII divorced two of his wives and the other one was BEHEADED-! Charles II executed-! Hanged, Drawn and Quartered. The "drawing" part actually comes first and it involves the convict being tied to a type of sled that's "drawn" or dragged behind a horse all the way from the prison to the gallows. Then he was hung by a rope tied from the gallows and around his neck. After a few terrifying minutes of near-asphyxiation, the rope was cut and the man fell down. Then his penis and testicles were cut off, his bowels were pulled out, his heart was cut out and all were burned before him in a fire. Next, his abdomen was slit open from groin to sternum. His head was severed from his body and his body cut into four quarters to be disposed of at the king's pleasure. The body parts were then taken on a publicity tour and distributed to the surrounding towns as a warning to those who would challenge the authority of the king. One of the main reasons for doing all of this was to demonstrate the absolute power of the monarchy. Burning at the Stake was another awful way to be killed. Britain has a monarchical kind of government and it had five Prime Ministers in a short period of six years. Northern Ireland was without a functioning government for a period of two years. The monarchy representatives and THE OBSESSED FOLLOWERS claim that the monarchy provides stability for a government but they do not explain how it achieves the so-called stability. The so-called monarchy cult representatives, ( Charles etc ) are supposed to be apolitical and have no power and most certainly do not keep politicians in check. That is done by the voters. So in reality, the citizens have more power than the monarchy cult representatives. If you think otherwise, then when was the last time royal assent was denied-? The founding fathers of our beautiful country of America REJECTED the old cult-like English monarchy with its very evil history and ALL of us Americans need to REJECT IT AS WELL. PLEASE DO NOT FOLLOW THIS OLD CULT.

Most of the assembled are ministers of the government. Nicola Sturgeon was the First Minister of Scotland and represented the Church of Scotland as per an Act of Parliament confirming the independence of the Church of Scotland. The reason is because the Church of England is officially controlled by the King (he is the Supreme Governor), and there was uncertainty about whether the government could enact laws against the church.

It is legally rather more than that. The king has to consent to, and sign, oaths in accordance with the Coronation Oaths Act of 1689, the Act of Settlement of 1707 and the Accession Declaration Act of 1910 otherwise Parliament can decide he should not be king. It also declares that the Privy Council, acting on behalf of the nation, is satisfied that the prospective king is the rightful heir, is a faithful Protestant and has taken the necessary oaths and is therefore accepted as the next monarch. The proclamation of the new monarch to the people only occurs when the Privy Council is satisfied.

To think of it. The last King of England was King George VI. That was officially 70 years ago. May Queen Elizabeth II Rest in Peace and may we pray for continuous growth in the era of King Charles III. Strange to hear what we've heard a good part of our life as Queen's Guard now being deemed the King's guard.

Sadly and indignantly, I say it should have been Diana who signed those Oaths as Witness after her son, Prince William, apparent heir to the Throne. (Instead, it was a S.O.P. Alley Cat who could not keep her vows to her first husband, Andrew Parker Bowles. How is it King Edward VIII had to abdicate the Throne after the British government, the public, and the Church of England condemned his decision to marry the American divorcée Wallis Warfield Simpson, and yet King Charles III is allowed the Throne when united to a divorcée [well-known to be an Alley Cat who destroyed a Royal, under God, virginal marriage])?? British morals have fallen. This is indecent. If it was indecent in King Edward VIII's era, it remains indecent today. The Throne should have gone to Prince William.

I've been wanting to see this proclamation, every since it happened! Or after it happened! I think that I couldn't seem to get it to pop up on my phone 🤳📱📲. Don't know if it was on TV 📺, like or taped. If it was broadcasted or taped for TV 📺. I probably would not been able to see it. I live in the United States. I've been in America all my life. I didn't get to see the entire coronation. It was live, here in the United States. As well as many other places around the world 🌏🌍🌏. The time of the coronation for the United States . Well the part of the United States where I live . We are 6 hours behind London, England. And probably most of the United Kingdom. I fell asleep 💤😴, and missed most of the live broadcast of the coronation. I've seen parts of it on KZfaq . But not all of it. The only computer 🖥️💻 that I have is a smartphone 📲📱🤳. I hope to get a desktop computer by the end of the year. Maybe during or after Christmas season 🎄🎁. What beautiful ceremonies that they had for the newly crowned King Charles 👑. God bless King Charles lll👑, his entire family, friends, country and all other lands under the king's reign.

Yes, it goes all the way back to King Charles I - during the English Civil War. He wanted to force the Scots to accept the Anglican church as the established church in Scotland. He lost that battle, and ever since all monarchs have had to swear an oath to maintain the Church of Scotland.
