If you ask God to show you things you don't know, He will. Now I always knew this, but I finally understood it. Your solution is to take time and wake up early and ask God to show you what to do. Well, to be fair, that was for a live video recording in 1997, so they had a lot more time to practice and get tight. Whereas, in this case, it was probably more last-minute than anything.
