for the n custom mode all it does is allow you to adjust your suspension, steering, and engine modes independently. Like you can have normal suspension mode while your engine setting is on performance

It's easy to get 40+ MPG in ECO mode on the highway with these cars. I have a stage 1 tune and I get 40 mgg on the highway. That said the 24s get 3 MPG Less on the highway according to Hyundai so we have to see what the refresh models are actually getting in the real world

That's wild. Shortly after this video I went on a longer cruise on the highway and got 28+ but I'm hearing a lot of ppl are getting 40+ which is amazing.

I have a 2022 Elantra N DCT and I get from South Carolina to Texas 40.3 mpg, normally I get 28-30 mpg between cities. Road trip to Daytona and come back 38 in both ways.

Congrats on the N man! I suggest setting Custom 1 or Custom 2 modes to all normal but exhaust in sport +. It's a good way for the car to warm up in the softer mode (normal) but the exhaust valves are open so you get the good sound. You can even change to that Custom mode before actually starting the car, just turn the car on accessory switch to that mode then start the car up. Cheers 🤘

I do want a tint but I’ve gotten used to driving around in a fish bowl for so long lol I’ll probably get a very light tint

@@ForrestDelBTS depending on your area and state law, something like 35% is about perfect. darker but still very visible and easy to see out of at night. definitely adds to the visual look of the car too

Make sure you watch a video on the dash configuration. I saw your Sport gauge looks like normal mode. You can change it for each mode to look different.

If you don't put Shell premium gas in that! DO NOT put low octane gas in that turbo car. Not only fro performance, but the carbon deposits in that direct injection car. It needs premium and it needs injector cleaner every oil change. Don't worry about miles per gallon when you are getting more smiles per gallon. That car will treat you so good if you treat it well.

Yeah personally I will ALWAYS put premium in this car, but I saw a lot of people asking about it online and on reddit. Went for a longer drive today and got 28 mpg. Also saw another guy get over 40 mpg 🤯

Did you drive in N mode at all before the break in period? Ive heard its okay to do it a little bit maybe to just to hear those pops a bit but thats it full sending it yet.

Yeah I put it in N mode a good amount during break in period but just didn't drive it too hard. Since I travelled to get mine I hit 500 miles the first day. Hit 600 4-5 days later and was driving in N mode with NGS lol this thing is a beast.

Have you put it into octane learning mode? Where the computer reads the octane and unlocks the turbo to 18psi.

@@filrad7656 haven’t messed with octane learning. I heard some people were having trouble activating it but I’ll try it out sometime soon.

I have a 22 N. Not sure what gas you have over there but i fill up 91/93 and mostly highway drive, i average around 34-35 on a chill drive. If im on it 30-32 and i mostly drive in Custom N mode ( Not regular). it is recommended to fill up premium its a performance car not a regular Elantra lol

Yeah I've been filling up with only 93. You must be driving it pretty chill lol I drive it pretty hard in N mode a lot. I get 24/25 on average now though.

Is the performance blue discontinued?

When I was searching for mine the performance blue was insanely hard to find. There was a manual at Poway Hyundai in San Diego a month ago and that was the only one I found. I heard a couple more are popping up now but they're few and far between.
