Okay so there's actually merit to the whole "knife beats gun" argument, a rifle does require you to have a certain amount of space between you and the person you're trying to shoot, if for what ever reason they're past the muzzle already then that rifle isn't as effective as people like to claim. Admittedly the stuff this guy is talking about is more akin to "someone fucked up and you've just bumped into a target within a building" rather than "this is how you should fight when you're clearing rooms".
