I suffer sometimes from anxiety at night and can't sleep. I listen to this album and so far I haven't heard past minute 20. It helps me a lot to relax and has a huge impact on my daily life. Thank you

I've been getting into this kind of music over the last few months, ever since I found Shylmagoghnar. I'd got into metal back in 1988 listening to NWOBHM bands and other popular metal bands at the time. That broadened to thrash metal, then to death metal so a few years later I was listening to Obituary, Deicide, Morbid Angel etc. And it's only now this kind of vibe has got me interested. It's been a musical journey. Epic stuff! Still like the old school bands as well.

me too, Shylmagoghnar and then Eldamar but also US black metal Judas Iscariot or Black Witchery... same as I am now into Savatage and Jon oliva's Pain and Michael Angelo batio. same as I LOVE devourment and Mortician... it WILL NEVER END THE PURE PLEASURE OF METAL!! LOVE IT !

u must be much older now? in 88 u were teen? I was 3 back then. only cuz of OLD school thrash and heavy metal and Guns N roses it hurts that I was born 15years earlier...I wish I was born in 70. the 90s kinda sucked with metal especially after96 when metallica SHITTED the whole scene with LOAd and other crap and sepultura and nu metal shit. cant compare to late 80s or earl 90s...

@@adopodrinje1499 I was kind of lucky to be discovering all this great metal music in the 80's and early 90's. It really was a fantastic time for that kind of music. It did die a lot after the early 90's with grunge emerging along with industrial metal. I did lose interest at that stage a lot. Sepultura changed their sound, Metallica got soft, Megadeth got more mainstream, Iron Maiden lost Bruce Dickinson & Adrian Smith, yep a lot of things changed and the whole scene died down.

I love Eldamar. It would be a Priceless time to see this band live. I just simply enjoy it so much after losing my mom one year ago my life has never been the same. And Eldamar sound just makes me think of her and and being close to her. love this music to the core think you Eldamar I well never give up hope.

there are more 1 man army-bands in Black metal! Judas Iscariot was 1 of them, also Nargaroth from germany. and Leviathan from usa.. and some more... but I wonder how this guy only is 1 piece when Norway is packed with black metal folks....

if it makes you even sadder let it all out, express your sadness and try to accept the reason of why you are sad. Let it all out, start becoming more open to new stuff, use it for becoming creative -> you'll focus on new things due to creativeness and everything that comes with it and you'll start feeling better and happy again. sadness is something we all have to deal with but it's our choice if we let it consume us or use it as knowledge in order to create something great. don't see it as something bad, see it as a process of learning

God I love that dungeon synth sound, Eldamar utilizes for the background synths. Definitely influenced my style.

Cool Album!! I really love both the use of the unintelligible black metal vocal wailing along with the steady (also unintelligible) angelic female vocals throughout. Mathias Hemmingby is Brilliant! Respect! This CD/Album is highly recommended.
