My first playthrough was Brick Hammer + Battle Hammer, then NG+ they both grew up into 2 x Giantcrushers, as a strength enjoyer it was like reaching Nirvana.

it is so nice how you fight, no panic rolls, just jumping, keep calm, dodge ... and here I'm with over 450 hours, finished the game multiple times, up to 100% but still panic roll like a dumbass

Barbaric Roar is totally slept on. Bit slow for bosses, but it makes all landscape enemies insanely easy since you can just poise through their attacks and usually stagger/stun them as well with the 3 hit combo. Love it

Ruins greatsword is a hell of a lot of fun. My first playthrough I was using Bloodhound's Fang (didn't we all lol), and I wasn't a huge fan of the move set. When I picked up the Ruins Greatsword and gave the AoW a try I remember cackling like a mad woman. You feel like a giga chad lining mobs up and mowing them down with a single L2, and you can score multiple hits on large bosses if you line it up right. If you're a strength build struggling in the Haligtree, that sword will save you a world of grief: it's very good for knocking mobs off of branches and platforms, and for making use of choke points. And it's also great for breaking enemy guard when they're using a shield. In NG+ you can break through the 99 cap by two-handing, and dumping points into int will add (some) magic damage and open up access to spells. Overall, it's just a solid weapon.

From what I remember, the Eclipse Shotel is pretty good in pvp if you run two of em and manage to buff up. The weapon art locks the character's movement for a while tho, so a lot of people will just swing on you lol. Oroboro made a build on em near the beginning of the game's lifecycle, so idk if they were touched in the patch history

@ginomachino you should leave a pinned comment of your regional to do lists for these build videos. That would be dope so people could take similar approaches.

I'm ready for the all support build. Uses spirits of all types, I enjoy Great shield soldiers. Golden vow, erdtree blessing, Various buffs, rally standard, icon shield, deathbed dress, royal remains in other slots, mohgs rune, old lord talisman, erdtree +2, dragoncrest greatshield, ritual shield. A fun weapon for this build could be great stars, for any non summon places.

Fun fact. Some wines are aged in old bourbon barrels depending on the flavor they want.

The iron cleaver is S scaling strength weapon I would recommend trying out one time it has really good DPS with its quick attacks and one of the most hilarious R2s to look at

You should make a guide on the location of all the somber smithing stones, because all the other ones are outdated

My first run I did a Dex build got stuck at fire giant gave up. came back did a modded int/faith build. Now I'm doing a vanilla strength build to see if I have the will power to make it to the DLC before buying it. So far, I managed to get past Godrick in around a 5-7 hour span as well as beat some of the evorgols and cave bosses. Idk if its the past 190 hours of experience or if strength is just easier.

Was really hoping to see some jar cannon melee action on horse back.

Something i do is use the pireblood metal instead of the memory of grace, you dont lose any runes and just neeed to teleport again afterwards

My change of choice for rykard would be: - reduce his resistances and HP to a reasonable value for this stage of the game - make the lavapool way more damaging - give the serpent hunter a removable Ash of war which you can put on anything - let the ash of war put the lavapool out for a limited time and give it a resetvalue, so that it cant be put out constantly - as bonus hide the serpent hunter behind a quest or smthg, dont put it in the bossroom

ahh... that's why i take so much time with rykard using malekith sword on my first playthrough in his second phase...

My buddy and I found that if you have 1 person (and mimic) running 2 colossal weapons and jump attacking, and another running phantom slash with mimic, the amount of attacks per second perma stun Melania to the point she cannot leave the ground. The most hilarious fight I have ever done in elden ring and I will never do anything else to kill her anymore lol.

I think a one weapon per boss run would be pretty cool to see

1:11:16 i think the ash of war is as good as it feels because of the weapon size and how it is a heavy hitter. If it was on something like a short sword or dagger or something small and not heavy hitting, i bet it would suck pretty bad

After watching this video i decided to do a run with Great mace + cragblade + stormhawk Deenh (+30% stagger) and it's insanely good. Just finished godrick in less than 30 seconds. Beginning of phase 2 I stunned him with 1 jump r2 while he was doing the fire breath and killed him on the crit. Strength is so much better than Dex it's not even close.
