Patched now. 1st Gargoyle hits you with ranged attack, knocking you off edge.

@@kewldude23xx I got great shield ash summons and maidens mist. I will try this method sometime soon.

Great shield bois get melted with poison but i took down first gargoyle with mist but second boss took me down with spin to win swipe. Multiple times i got the first gargoyle down with ease but second gets me

Good to see that i'm not the only one who really struggles with this boss. I mean, i really like the setting and the boss itself, but two of them?... I dont really know how to defeat them. Its possible that i am a bit underleveled at about 64 levels, but i just dont understand how that fight is even possible. I can trigger the second phase nearly every time, but then there is no opportunities for me to land a hit on one gargoyle without the other one immediately punishing me. I dont have enough flasks to heal after every attack. Any tips? Is using ranged weapons a better option? I just feel like if doesnt really work because they always catch up to me and i dont have the time to cast anything

I was going with a strength build without the use of summons as I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it. So what I did was use 2 colossal swords and beat them after 2 days of trying lol.my game version is 1.07 so I recommend using flame of the redmanes ash of war on a dagger and using that. 2 hits consecutively and they stagger every time since it does massive poise damage but I heard they nerfed it so instead if you are str build as well use lions claw. Or just use d's little brother as a summon as he's good at keeping the other distracted while you deal with one. If your sorcerer use rocksling spell. Works great.
