0:10 - Reach st trina inside of the fissure and defeat the putrescent knight
1:59 - Speak with st trina and then inform Thiollier of her whereabouts
2:41 - Return to St. Trina and speak with thiollier to exhaust all the dialogue
3:01 - Drink from St Trina's nectar 6 times until she asks you to kill Miquella
3:40 - Share st trina message with Thiollier twice
3:54 - Thiollier will invade, you can defeat him.
4:10 - pass on the message to Thiollier one last time
4:33 Ansbach & Leda invasion decision
5:41 - head to the ancient ruins of Rhua
6:33 - Make your way through the ruins to reach Honrsent
8:07 - fight and defeat Hornsent
8:37 - fight and defeat the boss Romina, Saint Of The Bud
9:15 - burn the bud tree to reach enir-ilum
9:30 - Reach the end of enir-ilum to fight Needle Knight Leda and her followers
10:57 - Collect all the rewards after the fight
11:32 - you can speak to sir ansbach
11:48 - Summoning Thiollier and Sir ansbach for the final fight

It is really weird that the madness swamp was just a side note. It's like Miyazaki just told everyone to continue with the lore, but there must be a giant swamp that gives everyone PTSD when entering.

Something to add is that you’re given two talismans helping Leda one for helping her invade Hornsent and one for invading Ansbach. ( I wouldn’t recommend invading Ansbach just Hornsent as both the talismans are pretty lackluster, However defeating Hornsent means you cant summon him in the fight with Messmer) You also can invade Hornsent, and Leda will still go on to target Ansbach. Which you mentioned at 4:52 that skipping the first fight would instead get Leda and Ansbach fight that’s false both will still happen, you just need to rest at a sight of grace before talking to Leda again. The talismans are called Lacerating Crossed-Tree ( Helping Leda invade Hornsent and then talking to her after at Highroad site of grace.) and then Retaliatory Crossed-Tree ( Helping Leda invade Ansbach and talking to her where she says her farewells.) The Lacerating talisman enhances dash attacks and the Retaliatory talisman enhances attacks after back-stepping and/or rolling. Edit: Forgot to say thanks for the detailed video. I just wanted to help point out some things I noticed. Great job man keep making content :)

do you know if you invade and kill ansbach and hornsent do you still get their armor sets and weapons? the scythe for ansbach. basically can you invade and get their talismans but also still get their weapons/armor later

@@microplasticsinurblud You will get Hornsents weapon and armor, and Ansbach armor and greatbow but no scythe or his incantation, if you decide to invade him. Theres no other way to get his scythe and incantation if you kill him with Leda, but on the other hand theres no other way to get his talisman if you dont fight him with Leda. IMO Kill Hornsent with Leda then kill Leda with Ansbach.

Dude really? The only reason I invaded Ansbach was because of your part 2 video, which strongly insisted that the only benefit to not invading him was an ally for the final boss, I didn't want to summon NPC's or other players so I decided to invade him for the unique items and now you tell me the better decision was to aid him? Wow.

Literally same, to be fair, we should take any new information on a new game with a grain of salt. Yes we could’ve done more research to prevent it, but so could’ve the guy who made the INFORMANT video.

It's not always best to side with Ansbach/skip Hornsent's invasion. If you help Hornsent you get the swift slash ash of war, if you help Leda you get a talisman and his drops early. If you help Leda against Ansbach you miss his scythe, but you get his armor + bow still, and Leda gives you a talisman Lore wise I feel like you get the most story if you side with Hornsent and Ansbach, plus you get Ansbach as a summon later. But the talisman and ash of war are pretty good. Also you get Dane's armor set is under a waterfall near the Rakshasa Mausoleum

Wait, is there another chance to get Ansbach armor after the signs? I really care more about his armor and not the bow tho. Altho I do want the more lore heavy option.

@@VideoStalker00 yes you get it later in the game even if you just help hornsent (which cancels the second invasion decision). If you help Ansbach all the way through the only thing you don’t get is his bow unless you helped Leda against hornsent. Either way it’s gonna be a two playthrough minimum to get all the stuff in the game.

I summoned friends who know the game very well. As a tip to someone struggling with this boss: use at least a medium shield with the ash of war, barracade sheild on it. Trust me, semi-tank is the way to go here. Unlike most fromsoft bosses.

In this video you say that choosing to side with Ansbach against Leda will get you all the possible rewards, but won't you miss the Retaliatory Crossed-Tree talisman if you do so ?

i've just completed the dlc yesterday. i speak to moore "put it behind", didn't summon freya, leda and hornsent on each bossfight, didn't assist or invade ansbach neither hornsent but I'm doing ansbach and thiollier quest. i was suprised at the end when we must face leda and the others, the summon sign of ansbach and thiollier appears. i'm instantly summon two of them and my mimic to invade leda. leda with freya, dane, hornsent and moore too while the other side is me, my mimic, ansbach and thiollier. indeed that was amazing battle with the dialogues from each character, staight outta an anime clash. btw i'm really appreciate for the complete guide video of yours. i'm gonna using these guide for my next run. keep it up man, you're doin good

Just a quick question. Do we have a huge cutscene or anything to know that we have finished DLC and go to DLC newgame+ separately? Or after we defeat the final boss on the dlc and that it, just return to main game and progress to become elden lord?

Man thanks for your hard work but honestly missing an op ash of war because you suggested that you need Hornsent as a summon then suggesting that it’s not good idea to summon him in final boss is kinda misleading.
