Aside from dedicated Souls speedrunners, Charlie is probably one of the most skilled among variety streamers. The other streamers are having it so rough and are on the verge of almost quitting and calling this DLC unfun.

I believe Charlie is the best gamer in the "avrage" streaming category. He really isn't focusing too much on one game but he is a god at every game he plays. This guy is optimised by god himself to be the optimal gamer.

He's decent. He relies far too much on chat and would miss a ton of shit if they didn't scream at him when he runs past things. Still, he's good at most boss fights. Just terrible at exploring.

Midra has some of the coolest boss music of the entire game, but I didn't realize to what extent until I heard this at 3:21:13. If you know anything about the frenzied flame lore, you would recognize this as the song of st. Trina played by the merchants in the forsaken depths. Originally, this melody was used to keep shabriris curse, which inhabited the eyes of each one of the merchants, at bay. Now we hear it as a sound of dread and despair, signifying the inevitability of madness. Even the way that it abruptly cuts off, as if its performer was suddenly stricken by a fit of frenzy. This might be one of my favorite details in all of elden ring

One thing I've noticed about the dlc is the distinct lack of cutscenes, like in ER, every single remembrance boss has at least 2 cutscenes, if not more. And here, multiple remembrance bosses haven't had a single one...they really haven't felt memorable tbh

@@butterschunkmcdonalds5333 Tbf, Midra is an easier boss than the rest i nthe dlc, but I think hes one of the best designed. I just finished the dlc today and killed every remembrance boss and I do think its bosses are some of the worst in Fromsoft. Most bosses feels so tedious to fight due to them have long attack chains and infinite stamina pretty much, especially the last boss. Feels like a lot of the time im playing a Turn Based Game with qtes for attacks that if I hit them all I can attack once and then they get to attack 10 times, or I miss it and either die or I get to spend my time healing instead of attacking b ut only one drink because 2 will get you punished.

It's getting kinda annoying how Charlie doesn't actually play the game...he just fights the bosses, there is basically zero actual exploration, no enjoyment of the scenery or the regular encounters, no sense of wonder at the vistas. Like I'm sure he'll take more time when he plays it on his own time...but honestly it's kinda getting lame watching him ignore literally everything but the bosses
