@@sicklelkcis They have, lol. At least, Garden of Eyes have a restored weapon pack that adds this and other things like Rellana's weapon buff after taking stance..

You also cant get the goat enemies helmets, or base game madness enemies armor, depression 😢

Tbh, I'm the opposite. Ongbal no hit run is the most show off mechanical skill. Smvr on other hand would try to make it as cool as possible.

Oh damn, that's awsome. I went to the clean rip vid and sped it up by 70% and it was almost the exact few starting notes at a lower register. Almost want to say it was sped up 66.6% as a joke but idk and am too lazy to process it in audible lol.

​@@Tortuga2223afrom what I understand, Midra, pre-suicide (aka the old man when we enter the arena initially) is a failed Lord. But the second phase of the fight is a true Lord, although maybe not that powerful compared to what we become, because we still have the body of the insanely op endgame Tarnished. Lorewise, if we died to Midra, the world would have been gone in flame. It's one of the highest stakes battles in the game.

The Frenzy Flame is basically a nuke of the Greater Will to reduce all to zero again Midra couldn't do it and was restrained by the hornsent, he then endured this confinement for Nanaya, until we knocked on his door disturbing him

Remember, in the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending, it's the Erdtree itself that is spewing the yellow, frenzied flame into the world and burning everything. Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame or not, is still confined within the Shadow World. Just my two cents.

it's the same for messmer too,honestly these two are the best bosses in the dlc

I kind of wonder, if between the polished hitboxes and the rare use of a cutscene, if this was a boss and area they originally intended to be in the base game that was scrapped along the way. They had all the assets ready to go to plug into this DLC area

@@Jrmg32 We've had enough of tweaked out bosses strung out on boiled crab flash-banging us every 4 seconds with AOE attacks and particle effects. This is better than that.

The Frenzied Flame is tranquil destruction.

I like the juxtaposition of how calmly Midra fights once the frenzied flame takes him over. It's almost like he's relieved from the centuries of torture and dancing with joy. The way he spreads his arms while walking forward and shooting frenzied projectiles, the way he effortlessly spins midair, the way he doesn't even express any reaction to turning his intrument of torture into a weapon. The frenzied flame isn't anger or hatred, it's the apathy for all existence, it's the physical manifestation of sorrow so profound it leads people to want to burn it all down. The moment Midra releases the frenzied flame in him he also rids himself of the shackles of his unending pain, his values, his love for Nanaya, his promise to her, his kindness that lead to him warning the tarnished off at every opportunity, all of it. He throws it all away and then dances with glee, because he just couldn't care anymore.

​​@@562.anthony2Hard disagree. The second healthbar should be reserved for the two strongest demigods Malenia, "proper" Radahn as well as Radabeast. Kinda how only Nameless King and Friede had that honour in DS3 besides SoC. They shouldn't hand out second lifebars to any minor encounter. It should remain something special.

they are both in the top 10 for the best bosses FS has ever done(at least for me)

@@hensinks 'best' is a vague term but in terms of stylishness and creativity in no-hitting/no-damaing bosses ongbal is by far the best one out there

@@hensinks All the soulsbourn & Soulslike Game only Ongbal produces Creative battle in Boss fights. So many out there can do no Damage Hit less Run but lacks of Arsenal on using them on fights to create wonderful Choreography.
