Fun fact, you can use Blinkbolt to dodge Malenias Waterfowl dance and then stagger her with R2 right after. Does pretty decent damage.

Am playing a very fun Str/Arc build in NG+ with a VERY satisfying combo. Powerstancing a blood and poison backhand blade (the C str scaling on these infusions scales pretty well to 50-60 str even), and the meteoric ore greatsword. Rot exultation, Lord of blood and alexanders talismans. You start with the blades, build up status and poise dmg, proc exultation and LoB and switch to Ore Blade and hit the AoW for even more massive dmg with the AR buffs and get a poise break. I personally have an additional weapon with Poison Flower Blooms Twice to detonate the poison and execute. This combo also works exceptionally well with incantations, as with 30 faith you can have some of the heaviest hitters (Dragon Maw, Burn O flame, Ancient Lightning, pest spears etc) that are buffed with the talisman procs.

Bro, why is everyone sleeping on the Backhand Blade? It carries the entire DLC. It completely melts all the bosses with bleed. It's also easily obtainable right at the start of the DLC. My brother and I gave it Bloodhound Step as soon as we found it (not even 30 min trying the DLC for the first time) and kept comparing it to all the other weapons we picked up. It procs bleed the most and has the highest damage output Edit: Needless to say Radahn felt underwhelming at the end

Now, hold up, the Fire Knight Greatsword isn't a greatsword, it's a Colossal Sword. The true most powerful standard Greatsword is the LIZARD Greatsword. That thing is ridiculous.

@@biel7015 shoots out it's tongue as a projectile on charged heavy attacks, not only that, but the projectile inflicts any status effect you have it buffed with... bloodflame and more from afar!

@@biel7015 Great AR, low weight, low stat reqs, massive range and status on the strong (ranged shot, the tongue is a projectile) combo, can be infused (no buff/enchantment ashes, but it can use Carian Grandeur so who cares)... Pretty much everything. And it's easy to farm.

The twin axes need hyperarmor or a boost in stagger, having dudes get hit by the dash and 2 of the initial swings so much as sneezing and knocking me out of the animation is just plain rude Definitely fun to use when it works though

@@MrJade12 its actually the same amount of stance damage if both strikes of savage hit and if both hit savage will do more damage, however the downside is that its not as consistent as the OG especially in the dlc with faster bosses so you way more likely to miss on the 2nd swing, and if you do miss the 1st swing does less than half stance damage than the OG.

Messmer Soldier's Spear is the best great spear in the game. 137 bleed on bleed infusion and the same move set as the tree spear. Charged R2 hits twice. It's barely slower than regular spears.

I feel like having 3 damage types on a weapon is going to net you less damage after it’s applied thru the enemy resistance vs jsut making the new hammer sacred. Sword of nights ashe of war is unblockable so I think this will be a PVP weapon for countering turtle builds.

You have to post what level your character is. I can't gauge how good the weapon is if I have no idea what level your character is. This kind of damage is very hard to build for at lv.150, when you already need 60 vitality and however much endurance to carry all your gear.

What i really don't like about this video is that you're testing these out on weak enemies and humanoid bosses who's stances can easily be broken. Show us using these weapons against someone like radahn.

My personal opinion is that if you have to rely on overly buffing just for damage then it’s not really a good weapon or build in general. A good build or weapon can stand on it’s on without being over buffed. Like the fire knight seal is pretty bad on it’s on but becomes okay when you use armor and spells that cater to its niche like using Mesmer and FireKnight skills as a example to get a optimal build

The only things that need nerfs are Rolling Sparks and maybe Bloodfiend's Arm. If anything I think some buffs are coming in the next patch.

Blink bolt is a total disappointment. Honestly most of the new weapons are a major disappointment. The backhand blades suck, everything but the throwing hammer suck, the remembrance weapons are legit ass. The spell and incantations are all under powered. I hate how much everyone hyped this up, not to actually hold the game to a high standard, but because content creators know that elden ring releases equal big money to them if they show some item or build or secret location first. Capitalism is literally the death of high standards.
