Funny thing is, Miyazaki made these games not with the intent of screwing over whoever played them, but at each turn in the game he would ask himself "How would I want to be killed here." This is his fantasy, not our nightmare.

I mean, yeah. He was a pushover and there is like 8 - 10 bosses that have way harder movesets to deal with, if appropriately leveled. I'm guessing most people get their buttholes hammered in by him because they run right from The First Step to him without doing any exploration in Limgrave, like noobs?

@@thegatorhator6822 I mean if you really want to easy mode him, use the jellyfish and his specific item from the NPC nearby to stun him, obviously the people complaining never read items nor do any exploration, they are just used to the Ubisoft hand holding formula.

@@someguy6152 if you even just do so much as 30% of the optional Limgrave content before going there he's a pushover because you're appropriately leveled to take a few hits without dying, your damage will fuck him up and you'll have some Flask Upgrades. Ash Summon not even needed really.

Getting 2 shot by a Rivers of Blood katana user with heavy armour, each swing doing more damage than Greatswords but swinging literally 4x faster and inflicting Bleed in 2 hits.

@@thegatorhator6822 man, I was a mage with Marika's and Radagon's Sorseal, both, on and I don't think it 2 shot me, the heck is your vig at? I did get 1 shot by a ton of dual wielding double-blader's doing their jump attack. Dunno what Souls game it happened in, but is seems dex is really good for pvp. 4 power attacks hits, typically paired with bleed, seems tough to deal with as any class though, tbh.

the "one more hit and i win" greed got me so many times in ds 1 that in elden ring, when the boss is 1 hit away i usually back off and wait for the super obvious punish to finish him o... okay, i lie. I still fall to the greed okay? IS IT TO MUCH TO ASK TO JUST DIE?

Ah the one hit from victory loss its because of that very thing that in ANY dark souls like game im in the habit of never counting a victory before that last hp is gone. The reason for the habit letting my guard down usually is when I messed up
