@@6Angel67 eeeeeh I was pretty sick of the neverending reactive ss blessed ceastus setup, and that status builds were utter garbage. And poise not existing was just a net bad for the heavier weapons, which is why reactive SS got so ridiculously overused. While Elden Ring is an unbalanced mess, I do like that far more is viable in it.

anybody that thinks any content creator doesn’t die needs a reality check. three competent players will almost always smoke a single invader unless they make a lot of mistakes. not hating on chase at all but most of the people he shows on these vids are not that good.

@@zoned7609at a certain point when the players are evenly matched it’s just a matter of math. you’re never going to outdamage three guys who have similarly optimized builds to his. the reason he shreds in these invasion footage compilation is because he’s playing with casual players, most of whom don’t even level vigor to the recommended amount because they are being carried by their phantoms. i’m not denying chase is good i’m saying you would see a different side to this game if he fought in a tournament, for example.

Your understanding of the online system in tandem with your combat knowledge and spacing elevates these videos to the next level. I’m waiting for the day someone can take you on one on one. It seems like everyone is starting to take to your style, been seeing lots of poisier bois in pvp who now run a variety of builds. Not just the same old moonveil or blood spam. And right before the dlc too. Holy crow it’s awesome to be a souls fan rn. They honestly could do as they pls and I’d be interested regardless as long as they maintain their integrity

Someone else might know which showcase video it was but if you want to see Chase lose 1v1 there’s a player cosplaying Link who managed to get over him during one. He showed up in quite a few videos and it was a whole saga. Definitely worth the watch if you have the time. Maybe Chase remembers which weapon it was?

Have you ever considered doing challenge invasions? Like creating some sort of achievement list and you try to get all of them in a playthrough dedicated to that. It could be things like "win an invasion without having talismans equipped" or "win an invasion by killing every opponent with a different weapon". I'm sure the comments section can come up with hundreds of challenges that could be fun to do and I'm even more sure that it will be very entertaining to see!

Have been loving the videos, just a quick question could you or would you ever do a video on how you are so efficient of how many items you have? Because I assume you have multiple characters considering you like to float around level 150-200 and so limited in larval tears that you would be able to respec a character only so many times. So I’m just curious on how you always have 99 items like the boluses for example.

I've really enjoyed watching the elden pvp videos recently and decided to try it myself (have never played pvp in souls before). However I am not quite sure when to stop leveling up. As far as I understand, there is a meta level, but what is it? Some of Chase's vids are at 125, some are at 150 and then there are weird numbers like 139 or 166 (i guess it has something to do with brackets) or even 200. I am at level 100 ish now at my new character and i'd like to know when do i stop leveling so that i don't miss all the fun and stay in long queues.

I would say if you’re trying to create a Pvp character to stop at level 125. After you have one created back up your saved file to the PSN cloud or create a back up on PC if that is your platform. this way you can try out new builds by reallocating with the larval tears and when you run out you can just re-download your save and you will have them back. You can also try out a variety of levels, but the most popular ones are between level 125 to 150. 200 is also a pretty active bracket but I find it a little bit slower than the others.
