I spoke to Moore The first forager was the one in far north east which I met after breaking the rune Then spoke to Moore first option Then went to the other foragers who all gave me the books Both rune etc broke when I approached Ensus from the North The precise trigger for the breaking of the rune may be more complex than we know

Choosing, "I don't Know" will keep him at the site of grace and if you talk to him after you finish the DLC he'll mention how he's all alone and how your the only one to buy from him. SO, yeah we keep Moore alive but the brood are all dead and he's the only member to the brood and Miquellas group alive aside from us.

@@tylerneas7369 If you tell him to move past being sad then he will disappear and be one of Leda's companions to fight against. After you beat them all, you get his armour,, Shield and bell bearing.

I have a serious question. How on earth does a player discover naturally all these npc connections and relationships? Do some folks just know devs personally, or do devs leak this crap to a select few or what? I do not believe anyone could discover all this by just playing game. I mean come on. Moore and the roaches. How?

In my opinion, I'm certain there's gotta be specific drops here and there on the internet so stuff can slowly but surely spread, as to create the illusion that players are discovering them on their own, but I'm also equally as sure there are also a specific few players who play this religiously and have the patience, determination, and maybe a little too much time on their hands, to actually find these secrets without ever having had to look it up

Good video! Didn’t know about his quest until after I’d beaten the final boss. I’d only spoke to him at the beginning of the dlc when you first find him. Spoke to him once at belurat then killed two of the foragers and still got his armor, for those just interested in the armor

If you break the great rune before getting the cookbook and the item for theolier, you can still get them at the end of the quest as long as you use up all of his dialogue before fast traveling

When you tell him to be sad forever and you go to buy something then leave he changes his dialog from goodbye for now, to goodbye.... 😢

Tbh this dlc... rly punish people for not using the guide. In the base game the only point of no return is after beating Fumen Azula, and there's clear indication of point of no return and locking out npc quests. But this dlc, however, have multiple EARLY point of no return cutting out the questline. I feel like this dlc is rushed in that sense , which the dev thought players would go the "intended" paths. (like leaving Messmer to last.. Ironically i didn't know Messmor is there and he's my 3rd boss completed, and BANG, 2 quests ruined. ) I missed at least 3 questline in my first dlc playthrough, and now i have to be super careful for my NG++ playthrough going through all the quests..

Hey. I just wanted to mention that if you keep Moore alive after defeating Freyja, Lady Leda, Thiollier and the others. Moore will be at the Main Gate Cross and i received some unique dialogue from him saying no one comes to visit him except me. He Mentions the others saying they no longer come to visit him. I believe this is unique dialogue i just found out. Hope i help someone or gave any one a clue to this.

I am not sure.. if you can't find pests anymore then I would say your best bet is to attack him and see if you get the items that way.. but I have not tested that myself.

COOKBOOK 5 path is Moorth Ruins go North East and you’ll encounter a cave with a golden tree inside of it go outside that cave youll find the pest

I did NONE of the Forager Brood Cookbook quests & still got “Put it behind you” as an option. So now, Moore’s not even at the Main Gate Cross. I think this has to do with me entering the Shadow Keep early after the seal was broken.

You can still get the cookbook 7 after Miqeulla's rune has broken If you choose "put all behind" and talk to him again he'll give you the book

Stupidest quest design I have ever seen FromSoft pull. Apparently, healing the wounded pest is mandatory even with all six books already in my inventory? Already told Moore to be sad thinking going to the pest again was unnecessary since I got Cookbook 4 during my first run. Going to have to play through the DLC again specifically for the final book.

This is my second play through and I finally found that tol guy. Little did I know if you ride your horse in the direction of Messmer you will ruin the storyline. I like the dlc, but hate it at the same time. Maybe even more than I like it.

I have a video for how to do Thiollier's quest. You should still be able to talk to Thiollier and get him to move to the Stone Coffin Fissure area to continue his quest.

My guy by the Church District is upside down - like his head is in the dirt but his legs are still moving but I cant speak to him. I used a warming stone on him- no go. I cant talk to him. How do I resolve this?
