From what I can learn from this video is that malenia is the blade of miquella, and that she has never known defeat

@Oisin Tynan Telling Malenia not to use her rot powers is like telling Radahn not to use his gravity magic. Look at the number of disadvantages that Malenia has because of the rot: she has only one leg and arm, which are also rotting, and no eyes. Anyway, even if Radahn had somehow managed to defeat her in the first phase, her second phase would have been activated, and she would have become a goddess. In that phase, she would have easily defeated him because a mere demigod cannot compete with a god.

Ive always felt like this weapon was always a bit underwhelming considering that its only obtainable near the end of the game and you have to kill Malenia to get it. It needs something more to make it better in my opinion. I think it should be able to be buffed with greases or have passive rot build up with the blood loss. The ability to use waterfowl at any point of a jump would be nice as well.

A bleed / rot weapon would be cool, especially for a weapon from malenia, who's in the top 5 hardest bosses in fromsoft history

It needs a buff where it has better distance reach and is faster. They should also add the old version of it when you use it once

Exactly, this weapon sucks. The weapon art is situational at best, has no hyperarmor, takes a long ass time to perform and doesn’t even get much bleed build up. There’s so many other broken weapons that don’t require killing the most broken boss of all time in order to acquire. They should’ve just made it OP considering you get it at the very end of the game. Give the WA hyperarmor, give it more bleed, make the weapon art heal you, and maybe even give it scarlet rot because why not

Amazing twin hand of Malenia was really cool, I always wondered why she never dual wielded swords considering she uses her Sword one handed, but I think it would of been more interesting if the Malenia build Teabagged or insulted Mohg in some way at the end considering Mohg kidnapped her brother.

thats actually a good question and honestly idk, but if i had to guess id say no since its more so an ash of war than an actual jump. would have to test that sometime in game.

millicents prosthesis and rotten winged insignia should be able to stack since i can equip both, and FGMS is a body buff it has nothing to do with talismans, so yeah they should stack.

When we used boss weapons, I wish we used their stances while one/two handing their weapons. So for malenias sword, one handing it would make you stand like her, etc

I don't think you have to do a new run just to get another blade of malenia since you can duplicate remembrance from those walking structures.

Please see my comment. How do you have so many runes? And can you like do more new game pluses than seven? If not, can you respawn bosses?

i had a lot of runes here because i was past NG+7 and killing bosses over and over again, plus a lot of unused boss and regular runes etc, i also dont plan on leveling up anymore so i just dump them out anyway. you can do NG+ beyond 7 as many times as you feel like, but the bosses HP, poise, and runes earned caps out at 7 so anything past that is just a repeat. NG+7 is max new game cycle.

@@Blurred__dots i mean not entirely. If you look at the fight clip, Malenia was disarmed and on her knee, Radahn coulda easily killed her. He deliberately let her get up and fix her arm/sword back together, which literally shows that she woulda died. Even though the clip ends when he got Scarlet Aeonia'd, it says after that he raged on for a while and she was dragged, almost dead, to heal.

which one, the sword dance or the flower? both are from the game and you get them for killing her. you cash in the remembrance at the round table hold just go to the finger reader crone.

Why the golden order fundamentalism seal? Wouldn’t a dragon communion seal work better with arcane, tho that’s on the assumption you are speccing arcane. Also the “I AM MALENIA” every 5 secs is annoying, the scarlet rot line with radahn was good tho. Great vid

didnt really matter much since i was only using scarlet aeonia to finish off some of the bosses. i just like the way the golden order seal looks. i can see why the malenia line would annoy some of you given the fact that we all had to hear that over and over again our first time meeting her. thank you im glad you liked the video.
