Havel the Rock is one of the iconic NPCs in Dark Souls 3, and now she is here to face the Elden Ring bosses and demigods so will any other boss be able to beat her?

Remember: this is not prime Havel, he does not use miracles, despite the fact that he invented some, like Anti Magic Barrier. Gideon was lucky to even live that long

Havel is arguably the strongest NPC in DS3, and it shows here. Despite Dark Souls bosses outright struggling sometimes, here comes NPC Havel bonking his way to four great runes... with no heals, spells, or ranged attacks of any kind. And he's also getting grabbed and tossed around like a ragdoll while he's doing it, which is more impressive. What an absolute unit. He better be a spirit ash in this mod!

@@mewxtherealitygod4706 No, they just dodge it, Npocs can and will be one hit killed by Radahn's meteor if you aren far away enough from the landing zone because they take a while to start following you.

I'm not terribly surprised. Havel's Armor has massive Physical and Fire Defense (which are the two types of damage the meteor does) and his shield also passively increases Fire Defense even when worn on the back.

So he more or less caps out at Radahn/Morgott, that's actually not bad from a lore perspective as Havel is only Human. Morgott and Radahn are Demi-Gods. Some of the most powerful, feared, and respected figures in the setting.

I knew from the beginning he was going to get absolutely fucked by later-game bosses. Havel is ultimately a slow tank, and Elden Ring is a game which absolutely does _not_ want players playing tanky against later bosses. The endgame is one long Vigor check. Still, the fact that he did as well as he did is a testament to how much of an absolute slab Havel really is. If his AI was better at dodging, he would have cleaned house.

His AI was terrible. Aside from 1 time that I saw he never capitalized on breaking the enemy's poise. He'd just defend and not attack. There were instances where he's literally just standing there doing nothing and just taking hits.

You just need enough DPS to focus her down while tanking her. I beat her yesterday with a 60 Vigor 60 Int Mage tank build using a +10 Dark Moon Greatsword, the Jellyfish Shield, some decent armour, the 20% physical resist talisman, and a +10 Mimic Tear.

He's a boulder with legs and his preferred weapon is a dragon tooth, Havel was the "hold my siegbrau, I got this" man of Fromsoft. Fighting him is literally bashing your head against a rock hoping it will break. Brings back fond memories seeing this.

Havel traveled to the Lands Between, to search for dragons to slays, cause all their kind were purged after the events of DS3. 13:10 Shame that this dragons are in a different league for our old rock dragon slayer.

Havel and Ledo! Also, isn't Havel supposed to be extremely resistant to magic? He is the one (Lore wise.. If I remember) who created Great magic barrier to counter Seath the the Scaleless, the godfather of sorcery. The dragon tooth grands the welder fire and magic resistance and wears armor made of literal rock thats very resistant to all types of magic... And yet he's also being tossed around like a ball that's being thrown back and forth between a father and his son Aside from my rambling... great video! Maybe Sekiro in the future. Just see him parrying every single enemy's attacks

It's almost like someone designed tons of good armor, then designed a bunch more armor while being overly careful not to recreate any armor from the first set, which severely limited their choices because that first set covered a wide variety of great designs and archetypes, leaving only a bunch of weird, overdesigned garbage for the second set.

Poise does work in ds3 it’s just that it isn’t passive anymore like in ds1 so you can’t brain dead chug through enemy attacks and r1 spam

@@Crestfallen_Warrior Pick up a heavy weapon, i.e. a greataxe, ultragreatsword, greatsword, or greathammer and wear any armor set with more than 30 poise and while you are attacking you will not be staggered out of your attack.

It's interesting that he can beat all the bosses up to the Morgott but after that he losses against the rest of the bosses (except Gideon). If anyone puts him in ER via mod I hope they take note of this and place him in the mountain top

@@Thegoodhunter225 I'd rather not have that, the original stats should never be changed for video purposes unless they hit there limit. I like seeing the data of what they can do before they get charged around. Dark Eater Midier never got buffed and he cleaned house, until he hit bosses with high holy resistance which is interesting because that means Dark was changed to Holy from DS3 to Elden Ring.

I bet it goes ok even against fire giant. I dont see it killing malekit or horah lu. I doubt especifically about rennala, i feel she is going to be aboe to evade him, but I feel that if Havel reaches here once, the damage is gonna destroy her.

Havel: I beat many bosses without dodging their attack. Tarnished: I can jump attack. Havel: I'm gonna smash your skull with my hammer. Tarnished: Why don't you get up here and try? "Jump on rocks"
