Watching Rob play this game reminds me of playing this for the first time myself. Elden Ring was also my first ever souls game and know I’m hooked!!

Watching rob is literally watching my first Elden ring (first souls game!) playthrough, same build and all, it’s such a throwback and I’m all here for it

Small tip, you panic heal which is getting you killed. Even if you're low on health, you should focus on dodging attacks and waiting for the right opportunity to heal e.g. when the enemy is in recovery from an attack.

Also, that Mimic boss is niche. It has a trick to it you could have used to make it impossible to lose. You take off all armor and weapons. That mimic will spawn as you exactly how you are at that moment so he will have no armor or weapons. As hes punching you w his fist doing like 1 damage per punch you can simply put your equipment back on and kill him in like hits. He cant do enough damage to kill you unless you sat there for 15 mins letting him lol.

My first ever souls game as well and I fell in love with it as you did. My first playthrough I found the wolverine claws and stubbornly used those to complete the game just because I thought it'd be fun to beat the game as wolverine. Now I'm on yet another playthrough, and watching you is refreshingly relatable and a good reminder of my own humble beginnings. I'm really enjoying this and hope to see you continue this series!

So brief story run down of the big bosses you fought. Queen Rennala used to be married to Radagon. She had 3 kids: Ranni the Witch, Rykard the Blasphemous, and Starscourge Radahn. Queen Marika the Eternal, aka God in Elden Ring, commanded Radagon to come back to the capital and marry her. Radagon was a simp soldier of hers and he bounced on Rennala after giving her god tier D. Rennala gets depressed and her mind breaks because she is a Radagon simp. Starscourge Radahn is a badass Warrior and decides he needs to learn gravity magic so he can ride his crippled horse Lenard. Afterwards he uses gravity magic to hold back the stars from falling on Sellen, city of sorcery in Caelid where he learned gravity magic. He holds them back until you kill him. Princess Ranni says fuck the Greater Will and steals the Rune of Death so she can kill herself and transfer her soul into a blue doll with 4 arms because she can. Rykard hates the Golden Order and decides to rebel. He learns of a great serpent in Volcano Manor and the snake says that together they can defeat the Golden Order. Rykard says ok and the snake eats him and they merge into 1 being. Rykard’s army was like wtf and finds a spear to kill the serpent but it was too late to use it as Rykard was eaten already. The most of the army bounces and says fuck that snake. Side Note: the Magma Wyrm bosses are hero’s and champions that were cursed by the gods for performing Dragon Communion, eating a dragon heart at Chapels of Dragon Communion.

If you do another play through, you should try to follow the characters stories a bit more. There is so much hidden dialogue and story lines intertwined in the massive world. And so many hidden bosses. I think over 160 of them. Crazy.

Had to start a new playthrough watching you play yours. Game is sooo good. Can’t wait for the DLC. Are you planning on playing any of the other souls games? Did you play lies of p at all? Anyways, love the content. Very entertaining to watch my friend.

Hi Rob, enjoying the playthrough so far! If you haven't already, you should go get the lantern from the merchant located in the SW corner of the Weeping Peninsula. It makes dark areas much more visible and it doesn't affect your item weight.

Beating Radahn pre-nerf and with no summons was one of my favourite FromSoftware moments. Truly an epic fight in the right sense of the word. You couldn't make a single mistake in phase 2 or else he would rock you with his gravity rocks 💀; good shit. PS: Bloodhound's Fang is cheap as fuck boiii, Rivers of Blood equally so 😂

So strange, I feel like I'm the only person that plays with my healing and magic flasks on my secondary select (on PC when you hold E and it shows you the four additional selections via the arrow keys that you assign via hitting escape and looking to the right). Does anyone else do this or do you all cycle through your options with the down arrow?

Elden Ring melee builds become easy mode when you learn how effective consistent and quick full heavy hits are/jump heavies. Just stagger and crit everyone

My only comment is that using summons for fighting Radahn and not learning to play againt his moves properly is ruining a very rare, incredible boss fight experience.

I low key platinum’d Elden ring without even knowing that I did. I just played it over 500 hrs because I just love the game. And recently noticed that I have the platinum. 🤷🏻‍♂️. Great game, best I’ve played.

Dont listen to ppl telling you to completely change your build. Best thing to do is to simply perfect your build as much as possible when new to the game. Listening to these ppl will make you feel so overwhelmed you will burn out quickly. Just better to learn your strengths. W the bloodhoud sword special nove just learn to time it. If you use it at the right times that second lil move it does has s and acts as a dodge. When timed correctly you will break poise 100% faster….Just strengthen your timing and ignore the ppl telling you to completely change your entire build. Trust me…

sekiro was my first dark souls platinum, second bloodborne was pretty easy after beating elden ring two times and last week i platinum elden ring sense why not one trophy away.by the way i believe you can beat malenia blade of miquella i never known defeat rob.

After 20 minutes of watching, I can say that you should really stop using that Ash of War(Bloodhound's Finesse, just use the heavy attack), you constantly jump back instead of attacking and/or jump into an attacks that otherwise would have missed you... also, only heal after you managed to dodge/avoid an attack, attempting to heal forces most bosses into "punish" mode that will often one-shot ppl if they are under 30-40%...
