This isn't like Dark Souls. You're not delaying the inevitable this time. This isn't like Bloodborne or Sekiro. A melancholic dual to put some old man out of his misery while a city/clan withers behind you. This world can be saved. There is still a future. And you gotta kick this guy's brittle ass to save it.

1:14 FUCKING CHILLS The angelic female scream at the end of the first chorus really encapsulates Queen Marika's anguish and the hardcore violins and drums that follow fit in perfectly with Lord Radagon's relentless attempts at protecting the final shard of the Elden Ring no matter the cost.

Radagon's theme is so good they made a game out of it.

after playing Elden Ring for more than 100 hours reading the items' descriptions and watching lore videos or reading lore explanations, I knew in my bone that Lord Radagon is loyal to _the Greater Will_ and that's why we fight him instead of Queen Marika. Radagon's Great Rune even sealed the thorns on the entry to the Erdtree, it means he is the one which prevents every Tarnished to enter the Erdtree and brandish the Elden Ring into a new Order which pure and separated from the influence of _the Greater Will_ Itself. Radagon is just a poor loyal servant of his God which abandoned his true love(Rennala) and betray his half-soul(Marika) (:

I have a friend, he passed away on May 7, 2023 due to stress and this was the type of music he liked to listen to, he was gentle and kind to everyone but until his hardest time Then there was only him alone. The theme we hear every time we boot up the game culminates in our journey's climax. From a quiet nothing, the Tarnished rise to conquer the insurmountable, and it all leads to one epic clash after another as the Tarnished rise from nothing to the very topic of legend. Each defeat stings, some more than others. And in our anger, frustration, despair, or combination of all, some of us put the controller down and leave our ventures in the Lands Between behind for a time... We return to the nothing we came from. Fated, as it would seem, to die in obscurity. But not unlike the call of Marika's Grace, the promise of a grand adventure returns us to the Title Menu, and our Tarnished to their toil. And with perseverance, our labors in the Lands Between begin to yield fruit as one by one our obstacles fall before us. Godrick eats his words of you. Malenia concedes to your strength. Upping the difficulty of radagon and turning elden beast into a spectacle boss a la divine dragon would have made the ending so much better.

Funny/Stupid story: In my first, blind run i got really surprised by Radagon being the final boss in this ruined state - that triggered me so badly i had to remove all my armor and face him with only my sword and pants....

Fitting that the first part of the final boss soundtrack is the epic, bombastic version of the opening menu theme, because we've finally come full circle here: After all those trials and tribulations, you finally stand before the Elden Ring and the Second Elden Lord is the last hurdle to overcome...or what's left of him, at least.

Radagon's become one of my favorite characters recently. There's just so much to interpret with his lore, and it's really fun to look into. I hope he gets some more lore in the DLC; maybe we could even talk to him like Vendrick from DS2.

The moment I heard this playing when I fought Radagon, I was not surprised. Because it was the most fitting theme for the final boss. Elden Ring did not disappoint me at all! Best game of the year, hands down!

its very rare that orchestral arrangements have viola as the leading voice in the ensemble, since they're often not as popular as violin or cello. this piece though. not only are they the setting tempo for the orchestra throughout, but the dominating voice at 1:14 and throughout if you listen close enough. the sound of viola isn't as noticeable at first, but as a long time violist it immediately caught my ear and my heart off guard. it's so wonderful and badass :,) it's also such a clever use of the instrument since viola is a mix between both a cello and violin, and one of the only instruments to use alto clef -- to me, it's very reminiscent of the identities of radagon and marika being an amalgamate yet distinct from one another

The way radagon hold up his crumbling hammer and give you that look is amazing the fight was fun sure he whooped me but I actually enjoyed it.

1:15 this has to be my favorite part of the theme by far and adds to the tension because when this is playing you are most likely fighting his second-ish phase

When I finally got to the end and fought Radagon, hearing this, you knew this was it, the final battle and how epic it was gonna get. You can really feel the energy from this song, the battle with Radagon was legendary. Your fighting for everything at that point. Eldin Ring is no doubt best game of the year. So dam good!

This game is so perfect. No Microtransactions or Season Pass. A complete game and you can collect all things in the game. It reminds me of the good old gaming days when you just bought a game and had fun. GAME OF THE YEAR 2022. From Software deserves this title with Elden Ring. Other gaming companies could learn from Elden Ring. A game will sell copies when done the right way.

The last three fights of the game are my favorite, the movesets of Godfrey, Radagon, and Elden Beast are majestic and give you the feeling of a true fair fight. Getting beaten by them was never discouraging, and beating them was a very satisfying feat. Mastering their movesets turn them into muscle-memory dances almost. One of the best game bosses I’ve ever faces.

Kept fighting to protect the Order even as a mere broken, empty shell, that's what you call loyalty. God I love this dude, he may was just a tool for the Greater Will in the end but damn you gotta respect this man's dedication (+ he has the best ost and most epic entrance)

Radagon is so badass that his theme is practically the Elden Ring main theme! Hey that Antonius Tertius guy leaked the official lyrics (gibberish as he explains there) of Radagon and Elden Beast and even revealed the singer who recorded the Elden Beast song, in case you want to sing along ;)

I remember going into this boss fight for the first time and hearing this music, feeling so damn badass and epic to finally be at the end, only to die less than a minute into the fight.

All of Radagon's pain and suffering is put to the test in the face of his final foe, us. And then, when he falls at our feet in battle, he gets turned into a sword to be wielded by one of the very things he fought to protect. He left his family for the Golden Order because he valued its ideals more than his own life. He was a valiant warrior that deserves to be honored as such.

The hammer beat as we fight like in the trailer is a MARVELOUS addition. Radagon is beating your ass, and at the same time, he's doing it so he can mend the shattered Elden Ring.

A friend and I beat Radagon on one of our attempts right as the song ended. Truly epic stuff.

They really hit hard with Radagon's theme The whole theme of the song reinforces the fact that this will be the most challenging fight yet. I really wish they had left Elden Beast as an optional boss for another ending, cause it really drags the fight down- it could have been very easily done where they made Radagon just have more health and a few more moves, but instead we got an idiot fish that makes us run after it the whole fight lol

I just wish we had two phases against Radagon himself rather than Elden Beast just coming out of nowhere and ruining the fun fight prior by running away every three hits. This track is just so good and feels like it's about to go even harder but never does..

I like how the art here shows one of the Elden Beast's eyes peeking through the crack where Radagon's eye should be. A subtle hint that we're not fighting him. We're fighting the Elden Beast's puppet, and by extension, the Greater Will itself. The man Radagon was is long gone, and now all that's left is a shell being puppeted by the very force he devoted his entire existence to. Kinda reminds me of Dark Souls' Gwyn. A man who devoted his entire existence to a divine force, even sacrificing his own being for it, only to basically end up as a zombie by the time we meet him. Just like Gwyn, cutting Radagon down here could be considered an act of mercy.

Probably my favorite boss theme in the entire series. It's so damn magnificent. The Isaac Newton of Elden Ring.

My only wish was to have Radagon as the final fight of the game, but without the Elden Beast as phase 2. Just a final duel between Radagon who protects his ideals and a tarnished who fights for the throne.

Fighting him in his prime must have been a death sentence.

At 1:12 you can hear the elden ring being shattered. At 1:24 you can hear radagon attempting to mend it.

It's been a whole year and when i really think about it. Are we the enemy? Are we the Evil ones? wasn't Radagon just assuming the role of being vessel for the Elden Ring only for us to decimate all of that bad ending or not?

The Tarnished and Gwyn, The Lord Of Cinder that resided within him, looked around in awe as they found themselves in an arena nearing the end of their journey. The fog encircled the arena as they looked around curiously before they looked up near the center of the battlefield. Looking up, they saw the amalgamated body of Queen Marika and King Radagon, crucified upon a Great Rune as the mist seemed to shift. The Tarnished and Gwyn felt a strange sensation around the scene, the air itself still as the grave, but energized, as if the air was waiting for the imminent battle between them. The blonde, feminine figure was still, shattered and darkened in parts, as if the body was made of porcelain filled with a living, inky shadow. _Suddenly, the figure moved their hands and wrists, and with some effort, the body broke the imprisoning Great Rune, shattering it like glass as The Tarnished and Gwyn looked on in surprised shock as the figure fell upon the center of the floor._ The Tarnished was at a loss for words as the figure fell, but he and Gwyn did notice that the figure had landed near Marika's hammer, which made them uneasy. _Suddenly, the figure, trying to get up, grasped the hammer as they got on their knees._ *_Then, the figure's hair slowly turned from blonde to a very familiar red, a hair color they saw on Radhan and Melania, and became more masculine as it made one final effort, and pulled the hammer out of the ground, a blinding light enveloping the arena._* When their vision returned, The Tarnished saw the figure holding the hammer up triumphantly, their back turned to them before they turned their head towards them, the dark pit now glowing with _The Elden Ring_ inside them, *_The face much more masculine and the body now very much like that of a warrior._* The Tarnished drew his sword and got into a defensive stance as he realized who was indeed standing before them now. *_Radagon. Of The Golden Order._* The Lord Of Cinder that dwelt within him looked in awe at Radagon, his shattered body glowing from within the ink-like depths. Radagon, having gained full control of the amalgam body, turned towards The Tarnished, his one good eye hidden behind some hair as he readied his wife's hammer in a deceptively relaxed, but ready, battle pose. The Tarnished, his cape flowing behind him, readied his weapons from his beloved Ranni as he tried to keep his composure. Gwyn smiled as he saw the two warriors, neither speaking, just reading what they would do next. The Lord Of Cinder had seen his host struggle against great hardships and trials, fought against opponents both great and vile, to get to this point. To see the lad actually facing his equal in none other than Radagon Of The Golden Order, and to have Radagon treat him as a fellow warrior with equal respect wordlessly made him realize that _this_ was the moment he had hoped to see. _The world, he realized, would change in a clash against Gods in spirit._ *_The fate of the world... Would be decided by the will those who fought for what they believed was right._*
