The regular block button is your main form of parrying just like in sekiro, use it much more than dodging ass it builds posture damage also like on sekiro, you can also parry the red attacks.hope this helps

You were honestly close to the end of the demo. After the donkey would have been one more small area and then the last boss of the demo. Also a key mechanic to learn is the guard timing, kinda similar to sekiro. if timed right your guard will completely negate the damage as well as increase the chance the enemies weapon/part will break. Making them hit weaker.

you can break enemy weapon's by perfect blocking and can also perfect block red attack, the more you perfect block the quicker they get groggy (stunned) you can then go for a fatal attack

Funny you uploaded this right when I just beat the Demo for this myself. The game is honestly so good I’m looking forward to the release. I’m a big fan of the idea for Boss areas to have your souls already be at the entrance I feel like it just makes collecting them much more proficient

I did not see it while you were playing, maybe you cut it out in editing but in case it helps am gonna give you a tip. To repair a weapon mid combat you need to use "the Grinder", it is a item assigned to your lower belt. You’ll begin the game with this item, so you don’t need to worry about getting one. "The Grinder" will be automatically assigned to your lower belt, which you can access and rotate through with the down direction on your D-pad if you’re on controller. Once you’ve got "the Grinder" selected, press and hold square button. This places your weapon onto "the Grinder" and restores the weapon durability. You can move while performing this action, but watch out because it takes some time to do it and you won’t be able to fight back with restoring your weapon. To stop repairing, simply release the input you’re holding. I hope this info helps in future gameplay if you gonna continue playing this game in the future.
