I never even needed runes in the DLC. Rarely anything to buy. And by then you're already at a good level.

May i add that the fowl foot and golden horn tender stack. Ive tested this at the mogwhyn palace farm. So using a tender, fowl foot, and the golden scarab yields the highest amount of runes

They do not stack. It’s been tested. The fowl foot gives 30% bonus and the horn tender gives 40% bonus

@DbDPuppet they do stack. I've tested it myself. At moghwyns without any bonuses (ng4), an albinuriac gives 4599 exp. With golden scarab, it's 5518. With scarab and fowl foot it's 8609. With scarab, foot, and tender, I get 9271. Edit: unless I *am* wrong here and my using the horn tender after the fowl foot is overwriting it and vice versa? If that's the case, I can cede the point, but as far as I'm aware, it stacks

@@ChaosDY yes they’re overwriting it. I did this test myself. Test with nothing, then with the horn tender, then with fowl foot and horn tender (in that order) and you’ll see the gains are there same. One will cancel the other. Another good way to tell is by looking at the status indicators under your stamina bar. You’ll get two little fowl foot icons (one for the scarab and one for the consumable) but if you eat the other consumable you don’t gain an additional icon it just remains at two icons.
