Starting dialogue feels like a remixed words of SIR GIDEON OFNIR, THE ALL-KNOWING: "I knew you would come. To stand before Elden Ring, to become Elden Lord..." "I thought I'd see you. [...] For the birth of a new God and the coming of a Lord."

I like how mid fight she roasts thrioller, along with the music made this fight amazing Everyone choosing sides was a fitting end for the crew

I adore Ansbach's dialogue here, he is probably my second favorite character in the dlc just because he feels like the lost nobility of Mohg back to take its vengence. An idea that maybe, just maybe, Mohg was not entirely a lunatic and was (perhaps slightly) more than the raving nightmare we saw as a boss.

Fr, my favorite fight of the dlc tbh.

Yeah even I was taken aback by how amazing this fight actually was. Granted, you gotta go through a lot of steps to have every character involved which is doing every NPC quest while doing certain specific steps in some said quests. If you don’t do all the NPC quests, this fight won’t hit as hard which could hold it back for some people. But if you did everything you needed to do for this specific 3 on 5, this is probably the best NPC fight in any souls game. I can’t really think of any other NPC boss fight that felt this climactic, emotional, high stakes, hype, sadness, joy, etc. You talk with every one of these characters and they are all likeable in their own way and some fight with you or against you. And this music? One of the best OSTs in this game now. Even how the gank fight was handled was really solid because they don’t bring out everyone all at once which I appreciate. It gives you a chance to battle a 1v1 or 1v2 before bringing in your own NPC in. It’s like a top 5 fight in the DLC for me and I can’t believe I’m saying this for what is essentially a PvP NPC based gank fight. And we had the gank squad in DS2. My lord…

Had to go with my gut canon for the first run. Killed most of my allies with Leda 😂. Working on maximizing damage 2 down at least without max blessings.

@@soulslasher7890 Others dlc got at least an NPC bringing closure to the quest with a monologue (Exemple : The painter, Artorias GF (forgot her name) This time it's just lame... Given what happened, all the stories we got into, it would only had been justice to get an ending for it.

@@KateDerWolf yeah, i would consider those two dlcs very good endings by from standards. but then i look at something like ashes of ariandel or the brume tower dlc and i realize that more often than not, they usually go for the abrupt anticlimactic ending. they seem very fond of it.

They are not brainwashed. Miquella's enchantment upon them lifts after the first few boss-fights, and they still follow him because they know his intentions are good and that he will make the world a better place

Playing Ds2 is like going to a 3 star restaurant with a great chill vibe, and the other games are like a 5 star restaurant where the whole table will stare at you if you make a joke

@theunknown7441 I'll give you the 1V1 was sick, but a collective of characters who all thought their goals aligned only to come crumbling down; that hit me harder narratively. Better than some dude creepin and stealin moves from bosses I had to kill lol!

Also the dialog was so really cool. I was so sad after seeing Moore lying on the floor. The whole fight felt so tragic

Nah this fight was honestly bullshit. Took me more tries than the actual bosses. They gang up on you and continously chase after you with infinite stamina and gank you with bullshit moves that almost one shot.

​@EfecanYSL Yeah, this is a cinematic fight but they should cut the tongues out of the guys who keep saying "we should do player npc gank fight again". Stick to good boss design like the fire giant and radagon.

At first, they're all controlled by Miquella's great rune. Once it breaks, they have to choose if they want to follow Miquella anyways. Their choice depends on if you progress their quest or not. In this video... Ansbach decides to betray Miquella, after realizing he intends to use his lord Mogh's cadaver as a vessel for Radahn. Thiollier decides to betray Miquella at the request of St. Trina, because becoming a god would be a fate worse than death for Miquella. Freyja decides to side with Miquella, after learning that he intends to resurrect her lord Radahn. Hornsent decides to side with Miquella for a few reasons, such as a promise to save his people, but mostly because he wants to kill the player (the soon-to-be Elden Lord). As part of his revenge against Marika. Moore (not in this video) can decide to side with Miquella, because only he will provide a world that accepts unwanted children such as himself. This player didn't progress his questline so that he'd come to that realization, however, so he's absent.

@@mariuszgaaj2814 Because being a god is a burden and not a privilege. Gods in Elden Ring are sock puppets for aliens, wombs to birth a new order unto the world, and then bear all the sins and consequences.

He's motivated primarily by guilt and has a naive almost childish/pure idea that he can do better and that he could help people. However, it's clear from how he handled the whole situation and how much he manipulated/brainwashed with Radahn that he's not really all that better compared to Marika. The world he intends to make would just become a Golden Order 2.0 and Miquella would just end up repeating the mistakes of Marika and that guilt would just crush him eternally.

@@koshilowell9531in the area where St. Trina resides there is a rune where he leaves behind his Love. Which in turn would mean that if he became a god he wouldn’t be a loving god. Everyone would love him but he wouldn’t love anyone. It would just be an order of control

1v5 for me, i never look any guides for quests and this is the reward i get for soloing all the other bosses, now i have to start all over again, but this time im gonna kill these bums right at the start so i dont have to get ganked again

I did all the quest lines so it's a 3v5 for me and it's still toxic AF. They have way too much health.

I'm trying to beat the DLC with no summons but this fight is absolute asscheeks.

I thought it was very fun with all quests unlocked. Unsung mimic tear makes it a fair fight and you can focus down the weaker enemies first to make the fight easier. But I can see how painful it is without the quest

if you give freya the letter ansbach gives you after letting him know leda is trying to kill everyone, she joins the enemy.

@@hamboningmaster nah, this is not the case of skill issue. you can learn Radahn pattern, you can't learn these guys' pattern because they do not attack in sync. dodging one of them opens you to the possibilities of getting ganked by 2 others. there's a difference between a difficult fight and a badly designed one.
