Welcome to the walkthrough. This series will cover everything needed to obtain all trophies in the game, in addition to making an effort to acquire every weapon, spell, armor, etc. that you can in a single playthrough. The first few episodes are going to be a bit fast in our pacing as I'd like to cover a lot of various starting items for a variety of playstyles. Also, if it's your first playthrough I highly recommend you play blind. If you want to follow this guide from the start that's your choice, but you'll never get back the discovery of things that comes along with your first blind experience.

Your walkthroughs got me through Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls 1, and BloodBorne. If not for your walkthroughs I would have never got through these games I now love. Hardest part of this game is realizing triangle/y is how you interact with things instead of X/A. Every NPC and resource in this game is gonna see how high I can jump by the end of this

Just wanted to say that your videos stopped me from deleting this game. Being that I've never played Dark Souls or even watched it played, I was pretty overwhelmed. Look, I'm coming from World of Warcraft and I've gotten used to having my hand held. So, I was humbled over and over and over again. I just knew I wasted $50 bucks. I searched KZfaq and came across these videos. Only having watch part 1# and 2# I was well on my way to exploring and playing the game as it was meant to be experienced. yes that’s one of the big problems i have with a lot of youtubers, the fact that they don’t understand the difference between a play through and a walkthrough. i’ll look up a walkthrough for a game i like hoping for useful tips and tricks but then they’ll say it’s the first time they’ve played the game

I struggled with other walk throughs and totally messed up quest lines, so I started a new character and followed this guide all the way through to #81. He is easy to follow, gets you through tough spots, and moves at a good pace. Highly recommend!! BTW, I am a PC player with medium skills, so everything in this game is a challenge for me - good luck!

Just a tip for fall damage: You can get these rainbow stones, and if you equip and throw them onto the platform you're going to fall to, they will either crack or remain intact. If they crack then that mean you will die from fall damage

There is an easy trick that doesn't require these stones. Just R1 near an edge, if the game doesn't let you fall off, then that means the drop will kill you. If you R1 and your character falls, then the fall is not lethal.

I tried this game at launch but for some reason hit a wall 30 hours in and just stopped playing. After all the awards and praise, and because of how much I loved other souls games I’ve played, I’ve decided to give elden ring another go. Thanks for creating this series so I don’t have to go at it alone! The social aspect of these games is something I value deeply so at the very least having this walkthrough makes it more worthwhile

I played for awhile and then got lost as there are barely any directions or indicators of where to go, and how to approach each area. I was just running around for a long time. Then I searched and found your walkthrough. I have enjoyed the game and the different areas much better, and no longer feel like I am in the dark with important parts or items. I would have missed so much. If you complete and find a lot of the items you’ll find this game has a lot of depth and can take a long time to complete everything. This is great. 100% or not, having access to a guide this early after the games launch is going to be massively beneficial for everyone struggling to find out where to go and what to do. I tend to try playing through areas and then watching your guides after so I don't get spoilers but I can find anything spicy that I missed. Definitely going to do that here and try and get myself as ready as I can because I've made it to Radahn and feel completely dead in the water in that fight.

This is such a daunting task Cowboy, I thought it was a huge game up until I got through stormveil castle and saw Liurnia of the Lakes and just thought to myself this game would be impossible to do a walkthrough on. More credit to ya Cowboy. You helped me get into the souls series after failing miserably at dark souls 3 I went and did all the souls borne games with the help of your walkthroughs. So when I got to the final boss I took a breather and went back to malenia and put my summon sign to help people I even got messages from people saying thank u that was my 80th try and so on XD

@@fudge_the_judge5193 it's difficult. Kinda similar games I am used to are Skyrim and Elder Scrolls Online. This is x1000. There is no questlog, no hints or tips or tools. I have a notebook besides me if I play and I write a lot of stuff down to come back to later on. That really helps. But the game is awesome. I really lose al sense of time when I play!

I’ve watched several other KZfaq noob guides, but none were anywhere near as good at both explaining the game’s mechanics and showing how to get started as much as this series of videos!

Love Cowboys content! Whenever I feel lost or defeated he invigorates me again. I do want to mention that unless I missed a lot of fog walls, you eventually get so much of these that I stopped thinking if I should open a room or not. My first blind playthrough had like 10 spare maybe more and I opened every single fog door I've seen.

I don't think I've ever played one game more than 40-ish hours (I'm 42 and a gamer since childhood, from MSX to Nintendo NES, then SNES, N64, PC, XBox 360, Wii and now XBox Series X). I've got 130+ hours in Elden Ring now and now facing the final bosses. First Souls game. I was a complete noob and had no idea what I was doing at the start. Feel like a bit of a pro now. :) This game is truly amazing.

This video helped me out so much. I just bought Elden Ring today and it's an incredibly fun game and I can not even describe how much this video helped me out. I was struggling with the 2nd boss on that castle and it was so easy after I found out that I just had to talk to that woman so I could summon spirits. Honestly thank you so much for making this ,these episodes are really fun to watch even if you don't need guidance or if you don't have Elden ring and just want to watch someone play it.

Can't say enough about FightinCowboys walkthrough for Elden Ring. Just completed the game from 0 to 100 while following along to this entire guide. Good Lord did I miss so many things in past playthroughs. I've beaten Elden Ring 5 or 6 times before trying out this series & yet you still helped me acquire hundreds of weapons/armor/spells/loot/world areas that I have never seen before. And on top of that, you seamlessly help all of us get legendary achievements & all NPC questlines complete. 10/10 walkthrough, subscriber for life.

@@sircodezyy3514 I mean, the people who have completed it have also played it non stop, most people average 90-100 hours to complete the game. That’s not “too easy”. Unless you use magic, but magic was always the “easy mode” for souls.

I did the first 60 to 70 percent of DS3 blind so I can say that I at least have a notion of how much time you've spent digging this deep! And ER is 10x bigger/more complex than DS3. This is by far the best "guide" or walkthrough I've ever watched. For some game I do enjoy just a straight play through without much explanation. But for complicated games such as this, your style of play through helps tremendously those who are trying this game, or any dark souls style games for the first time. Like the 63 year old gentleman, this is also my very first time playing any games from From Software, so this chill, relaxing but very detailed walkthrough is such a charm to watch. I also personally recommend going the class MOST similar to what you want towards end game. The specific stat lineup should help more, since you hit your goals(stat wise) earlier

@SwiftBMF by playing, if you dont know what you want but know that you wanna do magic play astrologer and figure out what kind of magic you like most, if you still dont know if you wanna do magic or melee do vagabond and try everything while you level vigor primarily and then wtvr stat u want if you see something u like but dont meet stat requirements for, if you STILL feel stuck, try doing the seemless coop mod with a friend who isnt a beginner bc thats what i did so i felt comfortable enough to experiment while i let them lead the way

I appreciate the walk-through even though some people think this is in spoiler territory I disagree this is content that’s consumable and you can choose to consume it or not I’m actually in a place in Elden ring right now where I don’t know where to go next Caelid seems too hard Altus seems too hard so I’m just stuck in limbo running around in Liurnia the underground and limgrave trying to get runes and get everything done so I appreciate a walk-through that points me in the right direction for next steps
