The Spanish translation had its own art, made by a local artist (Albert Monteys), and it's quite good.

@@BudsRPGreview I'm searching the web but I can't find (almost) anything. I thought that maybe the Runeblogger, who sometimes even posts in English, had a "retro-review", but... The name of the book is Secretos Antiguos de Glorantha, published by Joc Internacional. The company has not existed for more than 20 years, so if you can download a scanned pdf somewhere you are not even hurting anyone. I'll check if I myself have it in a forgotten hard drive anywhere.

@@BudsRPGreview also, the cover was done by ANOTHER local artist, Das Pastoras. He made some other covers for the Spanish version of RQ3, and it wasn't a popular decision. His art is... not mainstream. I like it but I'm in the minority. Monteys' interior art is much, much "cleaner" and neat.

Dorastor and Lords of Terror were such an improvement on this in terms of production and really there wasn't much needed doing - a Proper card cover, and invest in paying some artists and suddenly the whole tone is changed. The layout style in Dorastor especially, was largely identical otherwise. When the writing is supported by sympathetic art it makes such a difference. I remember buying this and liking the box cover but knowing the second I tore open the shrink wrap I was going to be fighting the way the thing looked inside, trying to look past that to get the feel of the setting. The last thing you want to be doing is fighting half the content in order to understand it.

1500 views and 3 years, and no one noticed/mentioned 3rd edition RQ and this product wasn't done by Chaosium :D

Yes, Avalon Hill *produced* it, but it was written and created by Chaosium Inc. - it's on the cover.
