I really really hope you'll do a playthrough of Eldritch Horror one day. I've had the game for like two years but never played it once. I sometimes open the box and smell the components but that's as close that I've gotten to actually playing it... So a good kick in my behind so I can start playing it would be a playthrough from you :)

I would need some sort of system to decide which expansions to add for every runthrough. Nothing makes me appreciate those simple "just toss it in with the base game" expansions, as when I have to decide what would work well together in an arkham game. It's hard enough to choose the characters and the ancient one!

The Prelude cards really become the mechanic which tells you what to add in. In terms of content that needs to be in because it connects to a prelude card or an ancient one. Most of the expansions are merged in fully some stays separate unless called on. It’s well laid out in the Rules for each expansion. Something I think Eldritch Horror does better than Arkham Horror.

I don't like this expansion because it add negative skill tokens. I think that's an excessively terrible thing to add to the game. Are they are annoying as it seems?

I didn’t find it a problem but you can easily pull that aspect out if you wish. Might have to check the expansion cards to be sure you’re in the clear but that shouldn’t be difficult.

The EH expansions are ridiculously overpriced. I think the big box expansions should cost about 60% of base game and the small expansions 40%. That would be a more fair price!

Hey Daniel, I hear you. They could be a bit less in price and box size. I agree! Love the game though so it’s hooked me.
