After watching parts 1 thru 3, I'm blown away at the level of craftsmanship and skill. That, that plus the fact that you make your own tools is just amazing! Ramirez would be proud.

Dang! Fantastic workmanship....I did a through body maple with a redwood burl body.....a graphite neck 35 inch scale. Redwood is soft, but what a sound.

With that kind of neck finishing to the body how can you play the lowest string on the last fret,you can only play the highest,what's the point of design like that?

It's a matter of personal preference; the vast majority of people never play the last few frets on the lowest strings. This way, the shape of the fretboard complements the shape of the body - it's another aesthetic element. Of course, I can build basses with full frets, if the customer wants it. In fact I just finished one, which will be on elebasses.com soon.
