19:48 The reason one bucket of water gives two buckets of hydrogen and one of oxygen is because gases have an interesting property. A gas' molar volume, aka the amount of space that the gas takes by unit of quantity ( not mass but just amount of molecules ( or atoms, for monoatomic gases ) ), depends only on temperature and pression. Not on the gas itself. So one mole ( unit of quantity, corresponds to 6 times 10 to the power of 23 individual units ) of water gives you one mole of oxygen, since water is H2O. And since gregtech gives you monoatomic oxygen gas instead of dioxygen like what would happen IRL, that makes one bucket for one bucket.

I love the idea of sending the multiblock stuff into a barrel. I think expanding upon it, you can probably set up a way to insert the nametag into the ME system just to mark it as complete, then put it back into a container outside the system.

i did exactly that in my world. I have another barrel with all the nametag multiblocks and an item pipe with gold upgrade to allow redstone control that exports back into the pattern provider. when the items are sent into the first barrel, a comparator can detect them and send a redstone signal (with a 3 sec pulse extender from create) to the item pipe allowing the nametag to get back in the system both notifying you that the crafting is done and also clearing the completed craft from your cpus, then an export bus puts the nametag back into the second barrel ready for its next use. for a finishing touch replaced the first barrel with an ender chest and a “multiblock” ender pouch for remote access.

Congrats on reaching the MV age! I've played through almost the entirety of gregtech in ATM9 and I've got to say that it's probably one of my favourite versions of gregtech that currently exists, just because of how polished and good looking it is in 1.20. I would recommend reusing the same machines for multiple crafts instead of one machine per recipe, except for when you have processing lines for creating a specific material (polyethylene for example). With fluid crafting in AE2 it's super simple to automate almost any recipe, especially ones in the assembler which usually requires both fluids and items. The EBF I found was the easiest to automate by just slapping a pattern provider on a quantum entangloporter from Mekanism (since it can accept both fluids and items, which you can then just pump to the input hatch and input bus). Later, when you overclock your EBF to higher tiers of power, the recipe processing time is halved for the lower tier recipes so your current recipes will be processed blazingly fast. @@sylvainfrancoeur5905 Big part of the gregtech loop is mining, skyblock doesn't really fit with it imo. It's also a lot more enjoyable to play Minecraft with the overworld scenery.

Power simplified 4 Amps LV = 1 Amp MV 4 Amps MV = 1 Amp HV so on and so forth For the sake of simplicity, all machines pull 1 amp of power, which tier depends on the machine, undervolt it and the machine will stall, overvolt will explode Example: Macerating calcite ore requires 800 EU at a minimum rate of 2EU/t, a second = 20 ticks, then it takes 20 seconds to finish Using a LV macerator will use double the power but half the speed (1600EU at 4EU/t for 10s) Give a little read on the getting started page, and also having a little understanding of ohms law helps a lot

when ever possible try and make sure that GT multiblocks are within the same chunk... it dosnt always bug out but it might bugout if the machine span more than one chunk.. ;) knowing that there is going to be a lot of multiblocks in ur future its a good thing to think of from the start.. ;)

Also might i add that its very reconforting knowing popular youtubers like yours truly have given a chance at GregTech, it looks quite dauting and its kinda infamous for its complexity to the average modded minecraft player, the ATM team and the devs of GTCEU Modern did a really good job integrating it to 1.20

With the robot arm, scroll when hovering over an item in the filter to change the amount of that item. Im pretty sure shift+scroll changes it in larger intervals too

GT multiblocks have rules for placements of blocks, BUT they almost all the time have lax rules for hatches, there are some exceptions like assembly line. If you dont need that many hatches you can just replace it with the main block of the multiblock. If you run an LV recipe in MV machine it would be overclocked (the recipe should use 4x power while running 2x faster than base tier of recipe) Typically giving a RECIPE more energy is okay or better, except for some niche cases that normaly happen in other gregtech modpacks or when the recipe is getting 1t (the machine checking for recipe to run lags the game), but giving LV MACHINE MV power will evaporate the machine and same goes for cables, giving them higher voltage or/and more amps than it can handle will evaporate the cable.

I suggest to remove coil blocks from the ebf pattern, because this part is upgradable

Hello Chosen excuse my writing I use a translator I have a wonderful addition multi-block crafting if you put the tag with the crafting and then took out the tag only and returned it to the system it was made you will not have to finish the crafting yourself I haven't tried the operation myself, but I think it will work.

My suggestion: Build buffers automate circuits (store at most 64) doing a recipie at a higher level applies an overclock, making the recipie faster converting steam machines to lv, as they are now basically useless

I believe there is a way you could have it not require you to cancel the craft. I am thinking using a ME level emitter to enable importing the Name tag into your ME network when your recipe is used, then have an exporter return it back to your storage chest. I'm unsure if it can be configured for a specific craft or if it activates on all of them, either way it would just cycle the nametags from storage and back to their barrels.

There is this method called the papertrick, and it is perfect to auto-complete the requests for your EBF (btw you should probably name your nametags EBF *voltage tier* *coil type* because youll be needing lots of ebfs with higher energy input hatches and coils soon) To auto export the nametag once it’s finished, you simply place either an Interface or a Pattern Provider, and an Me exporter facing it. Now you set the exporter to export your nametag. Then you put in a redstone card into the exporter and set it to only export with a redstone signal. To give the exporter the redstone signal it needs, you place a level emitter facing the export bus, and put in a crafting card and set it to your nametag. You just have to keep your nametag in the system for the export bus to extract, but you can place it anywhere you want, like somewhere where its not ment to be seen If you wonder how it works, the level emitter with a crafting card will output the signal when the nametag is being crafted ( not the components needed for it), which is exactly the moment ae2 puts all the items into the inventory. And its called the Papertrick because people usually use named paper instead of nametags, but it doesnt really matter when item you use.

I know you predominantly play minecraft on this channel, Chosen, but I would love to see you play Vintage Story. I don't know if you've ever seen it or played it but it's similar to vanilla Minecraft, however, the mechanics of the game are a little more realistic which I think would present so many new challenges that vanilla minecraft can't give you unless you play with mods. I love your content.

I have a suggestion for the multi-block crafting recipe, you can make the nametag one of the ingredients and have a filtered importer that imports only the name tag. Now you don't have to cancel the craft manually!

Ive recently gotten creative tank for the 2nd time in Nomifactory Honestly the best pack Ive ever played Theres even a 3rd port to the original being made rn, for 1.20, it is well made for being so early in development

I don't think its useful now but there is a void dimension in the pack too. You can go there by placing the atm teleport pad in the end

When you place an order in ae2 you can actually request something like 16*10, and you will get 160 of that item, or 16*8 -8 even

I think for him it’s a sense of accomplishment to be able to make the machines and produce the items by hand instead of getting the handout from the quest rewards. Plus at this point in the game he has all the materials he need already

One thing Chosen does is that he almost always accept ALL of the rewards at once at the end of a series, except when there's something he needs that can only be obtained via the quest rewards

Isn't there a way to build the multiblocks automatically ? And a cool thing with the Applied system is that if you have a bucket in your ME network and click on the water, it will get the water in the bucket from the storage.
