I did get introduced to Electric Callboy by audio only. My first was We Got the Moves, on SiriusXM Octane. It was only mid last year and I had never seen a video pop up on KZfaq. I fell in love right off the bat. I'm a huge metal and dance/techno fan and have been for a few decades now.

First EC reaction you clearly didn't know what to do with it. Seems you got a hang of it now. Good for you. And for your channel. Summer 2020, we all were in CoViD shock and depression - and then this video came out and gave us hope that not all fun had ended. You cannot overstate the impact it had. And it put EC on the map for most of us.

Being from the Netherlands and also familiar with German music then you’ll be glad to know that this song has two references to Scooter. First is Hyper Hyper and second is the melody to the chorus of Maria (I Like It Loud).

Check out the version they did with a German pop star called Sasha, amazing synth-pop 80s style. Soooooooooo catchy!!

And they also dubbed it into german themselves which made it even more funny^^ I mean, it was them. Barely speaking german and they decided to dub it into german by themselves! And still to this day i think the german version is better than any other international version beside the original. But hey, they live next to us, talk in a funny way and have the same friggin culture as every northern german has^^
